  We are very impressed and satisfied with the service and professionalism of the staff and employees of Charter West Bank at Papillion, particularly, Elsa Campos and Francisco Serrano. They were able to provide clear information and set expectations of the parties involved: the seller, the buyer, and the lender. This really guided and helped us accomplished what we needed from start to finish of the loan process. Thank you and Kudos to all of you!

  Brenda was phenomenal to work with in purchasing our first home! She is extremely knowledgeable and made it so we experienced the smallest amount of stress possible while we navigated through the process of applying for a mortgage for the first time.

  I was very disappointed with how the purchase of my new home was handled. I was never updated on the progress of my loan without first having to reach out and request updates. We were punctual with providing all requested information and proactive in trying to ensure all requirements were met early on as we were moving across the country and did not want to deal with a lot of last minute tasks. Despite this the Serrano team waited until only a few days prior to closing (which was the close no later than date) on the Friday of a holiday weekend to request additional documentation - the same weekend we were driving across country. I voiced these concerns with Mr.Serrano and he assured me everything would be handled more smoothly; however, the day of closing the appropriate documentation was provided late which resulted in us waiting for over an hour before signing. The cherry on top was that after we closed and I made my first payment I was notified that Charter West had failed to provide the Notice of Servicing Transfer in our closing documents, so my initial payment went to the wrong mortgage company. When speaking with anyone from Charter West they were kind and seemingly professional; however, I was not impressed with their service. I wish I could say I had a better experience but working with Charter West made the stressful experience of buying a new home half way across the country ever more stressful.

  Francisco with CharterWest Bank was very helpful throughout my loan process. He was attentive & very responsive to my questions. I would certainly go through CharterWest Bank Mortgage Center again & will gladly recommend them to family & friends.

  So very grateful for the hard work by all the Charter West employees who went above and beyond to help me with my home loan!!! My builder was nearly done with my dream home when my nonprofit lost funding and my position was eliminated! Charter West saved me from near catastrophe by working with me until we were able to figure out an option that would allow me to save my dream home!!! I could not be more grateful for their professionalism, hard work, and dedication to going above and beyond!!!

  Michael James did an amazing job helping with my mortgage from day 1. Closed on time with zero issues and in less than 30 days. Michael kept me posted every step of the way. Great experience!

  I would NOT recommend this company to anyone ever!! At first you can't get a hold of them, then when you get the manager involved you still have to fight. You will be told x date is your closing date. They will drag their feet the whole time saying you're right on schedule. You will order your furniture to deliver get everything you need to do a week before. Then at the last minute They will need more info, after you were continuously told you were good. They could have found this out earlier instead of waiting until the evening of the last day of the week. Costing you money on storage for your new furniture that they could have done already. Now not only do you ha e home insurance on a home you can't occupy but you have to shell out more money on motels and storage and more time off work. RUN, RUN FAR. There are better out there
