  Very Disappointing! I went to take money out of my account to find that CENTRAL BANK had closed my account without out my knowledge or consent and sent my $2,000 to the state. I verified my contact information with the bank staff and my address and phone number were listed correctly. I told the bank staff that I had not received anything in the mail or a phone call stating they were going to close my account due to inactivity. The bank staff also said that it was strange, but there were no notes stating that they had tried to contact me; it was because they hadn't. Long story short they said there was nothing they could do for me and it was my problem to get my money back from the state. Just be aware if you have do business with Central Bank they can close your account without your knowledge and then it is your problem to recoup funds!

  Hi Michelle, we're sorry you feel frustrated. At Central Bank, we aim to provide the best customer service while maintaining quality standards and compliance with regulations. After 3 years of no use, accounts are marked as "dormant" and funds are sent to the state as unclaimed property. Before funds are sent, we mail a letter giving account holders ample time to reactivate the account or close it. In addition, each of our office locations are required to make attempts to contact the account holder for notification purposes. After not hearing back, regulation requires that we close the account and send unclaimed funds to the state. Our team is looking at information on retrieving funds back from the state.   Central Bank has been an important partner of Kids Who Count! As a small nonprofit we have been banking with them for decades and they have come through for and helped us in so many ways. When we applied for paycheck protection during COVID-19, the staff of the SF branch helped us through the application process and we received our funds in 2 days! They really care about the community they serve.

  Central Bank has been my bank since I turned 18 years old- 20 years of phenomenal banking services! I have thoroughly enjoyed banking with them since they are the only bank I fully trust. They will have my banking business for life because their customer service cannot be beat.

  Central Bank in Spanish Fork has the best customer service! It doesn't matter if I'm at the drive up window, or if I go inside, everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I'm always greeted with a smile! And their Customer Appreciation Days are always so much fun!!

  Some of the kindest bankers I know. I live walking in and feeling like solid gold because of how nice the place looks and how well I am treated. Their accounts have good interest and the backdraft loan they recommended I get is perfect for cost free credit score building. Definitely recommend this bank and all it's branches.

  I love this bank. They definitely always go out of their way to make sure your needs are met, and they are outstanding at protecting your accounts from fraud or questionable transactions. I will always bank with them because I have no doubt of their integrity which is rare now days.

  We have banked here for more years than I can recall. In a world where bankers have taken advantage of their customers, it is refreshing to know that there is a bank that genuinely cares for their customers. My wife and I can highly recommend Central Bank for their personal touch and their friendly professional deneamor. Nowhere else will you get this kind of service. When you bank with Central Bank, in a short time everyone of their employees will know your name and greet you with a friendly smile. Where else in todays world can you find this? Five Star to say the least.

  I found myself in a pickle from a credit card scam. They were there promptly an guided me through the process. They helped me get relief from the company scamming me, and also treated me with dignity. They taught me a lot about how to keep this from happening to me again. Thank you, Heidi and Sara.   Central Bank is the best! I have been banking with them since my grandpa opened me an account there the week I was born. They have always treated me like family and I highly recommend them.
