Cedar Ridge Apartments Reviews

mrsmarked15My daughter moved here 5 months ago and loves it so far. She's had positive interactions with the leasing manger, and with maintenance. The location is great. The size of apartment is great. The price is great. They are older buildings, not updated at all, but that's why the price is so good. We did a really good cleaning before she moved in and I'm glad we did. But we would do that anywhere. She's happy. So I'm happy.

Storm Kelley4I currently live and have lived here twice. Both office managers both Melinda and Ashley have been fantastic to work with.. very understanding and patient through issues big and small. The area is quiet with very little trouble, right in the middle of Knoxvilles Urban Wilderness. Prices are very reasonable and necessities are close by. I'd definitely recommend to a friend or family member. I wish more people who are long time residents would write about their good experience. -Scott Kelley

Ryan McDaniel5After some temporary changes in my personal financial climate, I moved out of Forest Ridge 'Luxury' Townhomes where I was paying $1000+ per month for rent. I was very apprehensive to "downgrade," but I had to do what I had to do. Fast forward two years of living at Cedar Ridge Apartments and I do not have a complaint to share. After living in two separate units on the property, I have had nothing but an excellent experience. I have not had a bug, rodent, or other pest in either of my units - not a single one. That's far more than I can say for the aforementioned "luxury" townhomes I lived in with a serious wolf spider issue that the staff couldn't bother to do anything about. Melinda, the property manager, has been wonderful and extremely helpful anytime I have spoken with her. Overall, the community is very clean, quiet, and a great deal for the price of rent. I would highly recommend this complex.

Tabitha Wood1I lived in these apartments years ago and am still having issues with them. Terrible management! My fiance's car was illegally towed when we lived there and while they did get in trouble with the county, there was no apology and no refund of the tow bill. Then they turned a charge over to collections claiming to have replaced carpet after I left with no attempt to contact me prior to the collection appearing on my credit report. When I contacted them, I was spoken to as though I was an unintelligent human who didn't deserve any respect. I suggest looking for another place to live!

Sarah Manis1Id like to update my review, they charge you FOR EVERY LITTLE THING! Melinda the office last is the RUDEST person I've ever had to deal with! The charged me because I left my blinds dusty. They claim I left the bathroom dirty but the video I took says otherwise and they don't care! So beware when you move out. They expect it to look like a brand new apartment, even though it's they have to clean the apartment anyways. I will NEVER suggest this complex to anyone!!

Jennifer McCarter1All I can say is BED BUGS. Do not live here!! My apartment had bed bugs and they refused to treat the apartment. They blamed me for bringing them into the apartment, but the bugs were PAINTED OVER ON THE WALLS and were in the baseboards. (Now I understand why they didn't let me see my actual apartment until it was "clean" the day before we signed the lease) I was getting bit every night and had to go to the ER because I had an allergic reaction to the bites. Management was very unwilling to do anything but we finally got out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

Courtney Sizemore1Do not move here! Horrible management. Very unpleasant to deal with. We paid $250 security deposit and $200 pet fee each for our two dogs and once we moved out received a letter saying we owed an additional $800. I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone!

Bebe Bruglio1Manager, Melinda is very very rude. Phone rarely answered, no return calls for problems or questions. Speaking with her is pointless. I hate that my family actually lives in this complex.
