  We had another loan officer screwed us up, we were so tight in time to meet our mortgage closing date. Got in contact with Craig Barton who finalized our home loan very fast, better rate and with his expertise we closed in time.   Craig and Tara were amazing! They were always available to answer my many, many questions honestly and thoroughly. They held my hand through the whole process and ensured I was comfortable through the whole process. The process was very streamline and efficient. We had our money 3 weeks from our 1st meeting which to me seems very fast. I woukd definitely recommend them and will be recommending CBLoans to all my South Bay friends and family members.

  Craig is awesome! We were finalizing a mortgage with another broker and the terms were being changed at the last minute. Craig took the time to review the terms to give us the advise we needed.   Review from 2012: We recently refinanced our home loan with Craig at CB loans and would highly recommend his services to others. It was great having someone local who was willing to meet at non-standard office hours. Craig and his staff are honest, thorough and very knowledgeable. Comparing this loan experience to our previous one is like comparing night to day. We plan to use CBloans for our future home loan needs and recommend their services to others.   Great experience with Craig at CB Loans. My wife and i are self employed and kept getting shut down on a refi, even though we have a ton of equity in our house - our stated income would just not get it done. Not sure how, but Craig took the time to work away at it and got us up and going! The 3 brokers before him turned us away after looking at our stated income and mortgage etc., they did not even get the process started. Craig got shut down a few times, but finally got us going - he actually spent the time knowing ahead of time there was a good chance we could not get a loan - good thing he did, as it worked out.

  In 2006, my husband and I bought at the height of the market, and when signing our final papers with the now defunct loan company, they left me in a room by myself to sign a 200 page document. There was no one to explain minor details, the fine print, or the legal jargon that is placed in Escrow papers. However, like most people, I signed every document for I sincerely wanted a home. Fast-forward to 2012, I was divorced with two children and looking to buy a home the correct way. When working with my agent Leslie Siegel, I was told to call Craig Barton at CB Loans. Craig and I spoke on the phone, and I had questions regarding properties and areas. I had researched mortgage rates, and I had questions regarding down payments and accounts. Craig spent quality time with me on that phone call, and this was one year before I put forth action to buying property. He gave me tips about saving, and how long I would need to save prior to buying. Yes, it was elementary steps to buying a home, but Craig was there, accepting every elementary question. He was patient, very kind, very knowledgeable, and his emails that he sent every Saturday, were MORE than informative. In 2014, I found a home in Hawthorne, California in a newly developed gated community. Craig was there to walk me through the models, and he was thorough with his explanation of the new advances that are found in new homes. He even went as far as explaining the outside structure, the double paned windows, and the differences in garbage disposals. Although there was another mortgage loan company that many of the buyers in the community were signing up with, I stayed true to Craig; for his business savvy and expertise surpassed the other company. When I visited his office, Craig explained the minor details, the fine print, and all of the legal jargon which I did not receive years ago. I understood everything in those documents, and what I didn’t understand, he explained again until I did. His amazing assistant Deb, was great in processing paperwork. Craig did not leave me in a room by myself; he was there beside me as I signed every paper. Home purchases can be a nightmare, and my first experience was terrible!! However, working with Craig at CB Loans, changed my outlook and my trust. Craig is intelligent, trustworthy, thorough, and his communicative nature is outstanding. I could not have done this without him, for my home buying was smooth, and easy. He’s the correct way!!! Why do business with the others, when you could have the BEST!! Call Craig today!!!
