  I walked into to pawn my 500 dollar speaker for 120 and the front counter employee john treated me like i wasn't even there. He helped out two other customers in front of me while also ignoring the fact that i explained what i wanted already. He also made a phone call and still treated me poorly.

As business owners, we directly investigate any situation where a customer leaves feeling they were provided less than impeccable service. To help ensure the quality of service (as well as the safety of our customers and team members), we have cameras set up to record video and audio in the majority of our store. Naturally, when we saw this review come through, we went directly to the footage from your visit to help us understand what lessons we could learn from the interaction during your visit. We watched and listened to the replay of the entire interaction and what we observed differs a bit from what was described in your review. Jonathan is the team member that assisted you throughout your visit. During the duration of your visit, he stayed directly in front of you at the counter. He greeted several customers with a simple “hello” while helping you, but he did not go assist anyone else ahead of you. The only time he picked up the phone was to answer an incoming call that lasted less than 30 seconds. That call came in as you were working in an attempt to get your wireless speaker to charge. Unfortunately, the speaker wouldn’t charge, but we made you an offer anyway. I am not sure how long ago you purchased the speaker, or what it was selling for at that time, but the speaker sells today for $150-$160 brand new. On the used market, even in like-new condition, the speaker is selling for less than $100. A used unit that won’t hold a charge is selling for much less. We did our best to offer you an amount that is relevant to the age and condition of the speaker that would also allow us to sell it without taking a financial loss. We genuinely wish the speaker had been worth what you were looking to get, as our goal is to be able to help everyone that comes through our doors. In the end, everything we saw and heard during the interaction indicated that Jonathan was both courteous and professional while making an offer that was equally fair to both parties.

  Went in for some last minute Christmas ideas and Doug immediately greeted me with a enthusiastic attitude, I was very surprised at his willingness to jump right in and to be so helpful. I will definitely be back to visit and check their gun selection and prices. Shout out to Doug!!!
