Rob1Run as fast as you can from this company their a total scam, by the time I finish paying , I would have paid more the $12.000 for a water softener that it’s not even worth $3.000 their as closest to a loan shark you can get. In my opinion they should close them down and bring felonies against this bunch of corrupt lenders.

Latisha Gould1I would never ever recommend Castle Credit to anyone. When I called last I talked to Jackie Brown. This person talked over me every time I tried to talk and hung up on me when I asked that they quit calling me. When I called back to speak to a supervisor I got Jackie Brown again. When I was transferred “to a supervisor” but instead of a human, I had to leave a message. This is horrible customer service. I will be buying out my loan and taking it elsewhere. David Sandler, creator of The Sandler Sales System says: some people are not qualified to be customers. I say: some sellers are not qualified for my business and that would be this company. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and consumerfinance.gov about my experience today with this company. If I could give a zero star and still leave this review to tell the public how horrible this company has been to me, I would.
Response from the ownerHi Latisha, we strongly apologize for your negative experience with the representative. We would like to make things right for you and further review your account. Please contact us so we can speak with you.

Bonnie !!1I financed a water filtration system. I fell behind on payments in 2017. Fast forward to 01/01/2018. I received a letter stating there was a lien on my house, and I needed to settled out for the payments or pay in full. Therefore, moving forward, I set up a payment arrangement, and I paid 2 payments of $675.00 each which were deducted from my account. Now today is 03/06/2018 and I have received letters stating I owe them money as well as emails telling me my card was declined and the other payments aren't going through, I also received MULTIPLE voicemails stating from , Lisa, that I owe her money, and then I calmly reminded her that I did pay in full and she then stated, " disregard" and hang ups the phone. If I could go back in time I would never of financed anything from Castle Credit. Based on my experience with them, I would rate this company a zero for customer service as well as reassurance in resolving issues. I haven't received a letter stating I have settled, I am continuing to get harassing voicemails from Lisa, and then I have emails stating my debit card was declined and to call them asap! Also, today 03/06/2018, I received a letter in the mail stating I have interest on the amount that is still owed. hahaha. This company is a joke and the most unprofessional financial credit institution I have ever worked with. I hope I get the settlement letter soon because I don't know how much more of this I can take!!!
Response from the ownerHi Bonnie, thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Under our company policy, SIF letters are mailed out 30 days from the last payment posted. However, your account is updated as settled the moment that the funds are received. Feel free to call us at 1-800-492-2477 to confirm if you received your SIF letter. If not, we would be more than happy to resend or have it emailed to you. Thank you!

Daniel Budde II5I am new to working with Castle Credit, but my experience has been pleasant when I interact with the staff and consistent with a finance company that is attempting to do a good job. As with all finance companies, they work with customers that are both informed and timely and those who are not. I would venture a guess that most of the bad reviews fall into the later group and unfortunately those are the first people to leave bad reviews, but if you look Castle does attempt to reach out to the reviewers to resolve issues. I'm not saying no one ever has a bad customer service experience, but it is not the norm with Castle.

Dennis Davis1They illegally report to credit agencies negative statuses after a BK to keep it active in your credit report. Horrible company and highly recommend staying away from. Should probably re look at the laws regarding reporting after the account has been closed per bankruptcy laws. Your company does not comply.
Response from the ownerWe report all customer accounts accurately each month to all major credit bureaus.

Latasha Towles1If i could give 0 stars i would! Was scammed into a water filtration unit and signed papers for a different finance company. When the water filtration people didn't do as they said they would o told them to come get it because it wasn't worth it without what they promised. No one did anything! Now i owe castle credit (not the origional lender) more than double what i was supposed to pay. Fell behind on my mortgage and needed some assistance and i can't get any help is because they put a lean on the property! So now my 6 year old and myself will be homeless soon! Customer service just screams and curses at you when you call, so no point trying. I spoke to them a few months after everything was installed (improperly, i have a drip), and spoke to the most rude man i have ever spoken to! He hung up on me and when he had the audacity to call back a few days later i yelld at him and hung up on him!

c dyas1The product they are financing for me is not a necessity, which isn't their fault, but JESUS will they hound you about ANYTHING. May just be me, but when I missed a payment, instead of taking that payment on my next installment, it just showed unpaid until they were about to send it to collections. The young man that called me about it acted as if I personally owed him money. He called constantly, promising he was only trying to help, yet waiting until 8/9 pm to call after I told him several times I work long hours and that's my bedtime. Despite all of this, they've sent me an email everyday for the last week requesting my review, only making my point more clear. Once I'm done paying, they won't receive not a nary nother penny from me. P.S.: you're welcome castle

Mrs Jade Wilbanks5I've used this company to finance a major home purchase for my family. There was a misunderstanding, to the point that I complained and asked for assistance. The CEO of this company called me directly, went above and beyond to fix the matter, and followed up with a letter stating same. I have been pleased with the loan, the payment options, and their customer service as well. As a large family, we are very selective on who we allow into our lives and who we do business with. After having this account for approximately 5-6 months, I can say that I am extremely pleased doing business with them. It is easy, when things are good, but when there is an issue the way that it's handled says EVERYTHING. It speaks to the integrity of this executive & his company.
Response from the ownerHi Jade. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We work hard to meet expectations like yours and we are happy to hear you are having a positive experience with us. Thank you!

Vanessa Quintanilla1This company is awful. We purchased a water softener in 2013 from a door to door salesman. Stupid stupid stupid. We now know...I had our account set on auto pay so it could come directly out of our account..we were told it would take us 5 years to pay off..it’s been that long now so we call and ask how much more we owe..come to find out we have paid them a total of 9,000 and they are saying we still owe 6,000. For a WATER SOFTENER??? Are you kidding me? I asked how? There is no way??? We have been on time with payments since they are taken out every month and the customer service rep said due to late fees? The water softener was quoted to us 4,000 which is still way more than anyone should pay for a water softener but we were dumb and did it. How do we have thousands of dollars in late fees ??? Makes no sense and no one is willing to work with me, every time I call they are rude and not informative at all. There are so many negative reviews about this company I don’t know how they are still in business. They are liars, cheaters and completely misleading and make it impossible for you to pay off what you owe. I’m going to file a law suit if I can’t get this cleared up with them directly.
Response from the ownerHi Vanessa. Thank you for taking the time to address your issue. If you wouldn’t mind giving us a call, we would gladly review your contract and your payment history to better assist you. Feel free to call us at 1-800-492-2477. Thank you

Valerie Coe1If I could give zero stars I would—but they make me give one. They take advantage of first time home buyers. The absolute worst customer service of any company I have ever worked with. The company has indiscriminate clauses and places liens on homes/property for removable appliances—that are not critical to the homes structure or function. A 200k home is going to be lost over a 8k water filter. These clauses have caused TWO Active duty army families homeless due to the inability to close on the home and the language used to place a lien on the property for a removable water filtration system. They will not remove the system, or allow payments to be continued by the original purchaser in order to allow the new family to close on the home. Incredibly rude customer service who raised their voice and yelled when we were just trying to come to an agreement or figure out how to make the sale of the property occur
