  I had the great pleasure of working with Mr. MATHEW THOMAS VANHORN from Carrigton Mortgage. I live in California this person made the process of refinancing my home so easy i thought I was being scammed. He did it all! He was simply amazing! Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!

  James Jenkins couldn’t have been more helpful. From the first phone call he assured me he would take care of my cash out refinance. A few bumps and snags that he smoothed out was evidence that I was in good hands. James was awesome and his team handled everything. 10/10 would recommend.

  Overall, great experiance with rate, closing cost, and responsiveness during processing/closing. My family and I are truly appreciative- with Carrington's involvement in helping obtain the American Dream, and setting foundation for my family!

  My second mortgage was sold to Carrington. The first contact I recieved from them stated that my loan balance was almost $70,000 more than the $35,000 I borrowed from the original lender. I asked for a statement, they refused to supply one. My personal information that was transfered to Carrington from my original lender, was compromised during a data breach after the transfer. I was also contacted by a company named Ursus on Carrington's behalf stating they "misplaced" my mortgage note..and that I needed to resign a replacement asap. My stance with Carrington was that I needed to see something in writing from them showing the correct amount that I owed them, to ensure their records were correct, and that I was not in some sort of scam. Given the above details, any resonable person would be skeptical. After almost a year...I finally recieved documents, I signed a modified loan so they now have the note that they need and have been current. I now demand that Carrington take the late payments off of my credit history, because it was their errors in record keeping, lack of security of my personal information and unwillingness to provide me the information to ensure me that everything was legitamate, that has led us to this juncture. I have done my due dilligence by writing detailed letters, and spending countless hours, being passed from person to person...and not getting anywhere. J. Yater Hamilton, Ohio.

  The Main part of my experience with Carrington Mortgage was, prompt and efficient service! My agent was very knowledgeable and easy to access! What I didn't understand, my agent was there to promptly guide me through!

  Our first lender couldn’t close our loan due to the erratic market during Co-Vid. They referred us to Carrington, stating we’d be in good hands. And, we were! They helped us close our loan promptly and efficiently despite these trying and uncertain times!

  James Jenkins is the networking and Mortgage kingpin, an amazing associate and a wise soul. His talents are many, but most importantly he loves people. He loves to network, create synergies and innovate new ways to make a better world for his clients. I am amazed by his hard work and authentic approach to serve the next man. James has the mastery to make it something better, bigger and more innovate when it comes to helping folks finance their home. The world is a better place because of James.

  I can't recommend James Jenkins Junior highly enough. I'm a pretty demanding customer. We applied to three large mortgagors. And James beat them all. This is the second time we've used Carrington, and no one can beat their prices or personal attention. Since we're refinancing in March 2020, you can imagine the stress everyone's under. So I kept calling. And emailing. And texting James for information. He answered all of them promptly and without a trace of annoyance. Though I can't imagine he was not annoyed. This is the kind of employee you want in an emergency. Or in a non-emergency. Someone please give this man a raise!

  Absolutely HORRIBLE Customer Service! The Lending Manager is a JOKE and a complete JERK. Accused me of blaming a Loan Officer of something that was not her fault. I praised the Loan Officer in question for her wonderful service. Then, when I finally got a response from the Lending Manager regarding my actual issue, it was a forwarded message where he is calling me absolutely nuts in his prior emails. Unbelievably unprofessional, and then when I called him out on it, I have NEVER gotten a response back. STEPHEN SHAWHAN is a real piece of work. I would advise anyone reading this to not deal with him. He was this big of a jerk to me and my issue was that during my closing in 2015, they did not properly remove my ex-boyfriend from the title to my property. I paid to have a deed recorded that did NOT get recorded. And this man had the nerve to tell me "this is what happens when you put someone on title to your home and aren't married." Screw you Stephen. This is what happens when you pay to have Carrington Mortgage/Carrington Title do their job and they CAN'T complete it and take no responsibility for it.

  I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Arrogant company that purchased my mortgage, returned my overpayment of my monthly payment (because it was too large) even though I was authorized to prepay, and then send a late payment report to the credit agencies. You are a pathetic organization who hurt the customers that contribute to your profitability. I wish you the same karma that you emit...
