  Michelle Mcdevitt hands down is the best! My husband and I have being using Michelle for our mortgage needs for many years. Everytime we have needed her she has never let us down. She goes above and beyond. She isn't your typical 9/5. Michelle has been there for me, to answer questions at all hours and days. She truly cares about her clients and finding them the best rates and making sure you understand everything. She always goes beyond her scope of her job and has helped with making sure you are fully satisfied . Even after closings I can always call Michelle with questions and she is always there to help me. Thats why we have used her numerous times and will always continue to use her in the future.

  We were recently paired with Bobby Thames, Sr. Loan Officer with Carolina’s Premier Mortgage Corporation during the purchasing of our home in South Carolina, and had the absolute worst experience we have ever had with any professional or company. After 24 years of service, my husband retired from the military and we were so excited to relocate to a state of our choice and purchase a home after years of saving and planning. We anxiously awaited the day we could finally settle down with our family. Our experience with Bobby Thames drained every ounce of our excitement, resulting in tears and more money out of our pocket due to his unprofessionalism and poor communication skills. Mr. Thames arrogantly refused to communicate throughout this process resulting in not one but TWO missed closing dates and ultimately costing us more money to extend the contract and cover the sellers moving expenses for their inconvenience. As clients, we were appalled at the disrespect and lack of compassion Mr. Thames had, knowing we were not only at risk of losing the house but now homeless and having to stay with family due to moving out of our rental. Additionally, we had a coordinated government move resulting in all of our household goods having to be put into temporary storage in transit due to not having a house to deliver to as promised by Mr. Thames. Our realtor, owner of the realtor company, and we the clients pleaded with Mr. Thames to give us a realistic time-frame of a closing date to inform the sellers and also make living arrangements as we were in transit with two small children during COVID and without a home. Out of the numerous emails, phone calls and in person attempts we made to communicate with the person supposedly representing our loan, Mr. Thames made little effort to respond and appeared to be spending more time discussing details related to our purchase with the “sellers” realtor. We were sick over this experience and multiple families were inconvenienced along the way. Stay clear of Bobby Thames...he is an arrogant man who only cares about his image. We are sick over the fact that someone can dishonor our family (two veterans and two small children), treat us with such disrespect and actually profit thousands of dollars in the end while we are left with more money out of our pocket to cover the inconveniences suffered by both parties involved.

  Seamless and professional. Bobby was able to beat any competitors rate by half a point. No one else could come close. 3rd loan with this company and we won't be using anyone else for our VA loan!
