J LaV5I have gotten 3 cars loans, a mortgage and have banked here for quite a few years now. These folks are amazing. They may not have Apple Pay but their rates are great and Reena (Branch Manager) is awesome. She's extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I really appreciate her and her team who all pitched in to help me through my most recent car loan. Great people all around and I can't say enough good things about this bank. Thank you all who work here!

Ed1used the driveup window for the second time since joining. VERY rude person who has a control problem. Not a good representation for a business. I will not use that drive up again. Also,I deosited a bank check from a local bank for 15K and over 9K was on hold for 12 days.. Shouldn"t that clear much sooner bank to bank. Strange. Used Credit Union services for 40 years in previous location. Never dealt with a poor association like this one.

Ashe River-Knouse5Came inside the branch for a shared deposit. It was my first time banking here since I moved, and the teller was really helpful, showing me how to fill out the shared branching slip. Everyone was very personable and nice - even their interactions with each other were jovial. All in all, they made me feel welcomed as if it were my own home branch regardless of where I actually keep my money.

MRS. Queen1Deposited a deposit refund check from my previous landlord 0n 10/15/2021 and teller tells me will be a two day hold. I look on my online banking and see that the check won't be released for 9 business days after this weekend. That is 10/28/2021. Mind you that today is Friday! I call the number to see if it was a clerical error. They tell me the manager at the surfside branch is trying to establish relationship with me as a client. How does this make me want to have a banking relationship when it takes so long to recieve my funds! This is totally BS!

Kakarot Vegeta1Been using this credit union for ten years with no problems. However, when I went there yesterday with a debt card issue, both employees was rude and very unprofessional when it came to helping me to reset my pin. I went to the one in Surfside, explained the situation, and they helped me within 5 minutes along with the steps. (Unlike homestown). Will not use homestown bank again.

Curt Oathout5We have our property mortage with CTFCU. Their awesome mortgage team led by Connie Thompson and mortgage loan originator Kelly Rowland made the mortgage loan process Simple and Easy. They were accessible by phone and thoroughly answered all of our questions. The whole process took about a month start to finish. We are so pleased, we will be doing business with Carolina Trust for many years to come.

Joe Fay120 minutes waiting in the lobby chairs not one person asked what I needed! This was the second time in the lobby to get a new Debit card. I will open a new business checking account at another financial institution and then close the one at Carolina Federal Trust Credit Union How sad this branch is. Or maybe the entire company

Sue Rowe2We paid off our car loan in March. We no longer live in SC. We requested to close our account and get the 50.00 returned to us. We sent a letter, called several times and sent an email to Ms Hearl twice. Still nothing. I guess we aren't important enough to them. Calling the BBB is next.

Sean Sheely1I've been a customer for seven years always had great service . Entering the bank today the door can be a little confusing .you have to stand close to the second door for it to open .no problem going in the teller line I hand her my drivers license my account information and my last car payment . Then rude teller told me to take my hat off which I asked her why she pointed to a sign and said it was policy I have been in the bank for at least 15 minutes how come someone didn't ask me to take it off before then??? I just gave you on my identification makes no sense then while waiting for her to finish two customers tried to come through the same door which they had problems and she proceeded to call them stupid. Nice attitude Donna!!! I will be pulling my money and my business out of Carolina trust!!!!!!

Daniel McGlew1Never very happy with Holmestown Road branch. (I went to the branch on 17 once - seemed much more proficient). My main complaint: Went in to DEPOSIT a paycheck (not that it should make a difference, but, it was a retroactive paycheck for a wage increase). Teller types something into computer, say there is a problem, and consults with someone in the office. Returns and tells me that the check is no good, it is not valid. I found this somewhat hard to believe - after all - it was a paycheck from UPS. They don't really have a reputation of paying their employees with bad checks. So I took the check over to SOUTH ATLANTIC BANK, explained that I just came from C.T.F.C.U., etc, etc. Teller at SOUTH ATLANTIC BANK looked at the check, could find no reason to believe the check was bad, and proceeded to deposit the check. Check cleared - no problem! Certainly will not be using CTFCU in the future.
