  This was not, as it turned out, the most trouble-free project. It took several visits and modifications to resolve the issues with my new polycarbonate roofing over my screened in porch. The point is, however, that Tim worked with me in a professional manner over a period of several weeks to complete the project to my satisfaction. He was unfailingly courteous and dedicated to getting the job done right. When things don't go as expected, that is when you find out if you hired the right company for your project.   Brad McCauley, contractor for Carolina Home Specialists is the gold standard by which all contractors should be measured. This is the 2nd opportunity I've had to work with Brad and CHS. After a May 2020 storm left my home damaged by a fallen tree I again called Brad McCauley @ CHS to make the necessary repairs to my home. Brad repaired our roof, replaced the carport, fencing, painted and repaired our den and also rebuilt our chimney. Brad was helpful and professional in dealing with my family. I would contact Brad again concerning any future home repairs. Brad embodies a generosity of spirit and kindness. He is a man of highest integrity. When you find yourself in a difficult situation Brad is the help you hope is available.

  We were looking for a professional, reliable company to replace our home's roof and siding. Also, we needed the price to fit within our budget. After talking with lots of people, who had recently delt with roofing and siding companies, one in particular stood out from the rest- Carolina Home Specialists. We called them and asked to schedule a home vist with a free quote. One of the owners, Tim Ilderton, came to our home and answered all our questions plus delivered us a managable and fair price. Additionally, Carolina Home Specialist offers an excellent deal on their in house financing so we decided to get some of our windows replaced too. Tim's crew worked in a timely manner, took pride in their work and were respectful of our schedule. They completed all the work on time and within budget. Thanks To Tim Ilderton, at Carolina Home Specialists, for your professionalism and your crew's skill in making our home look like new again.   We had our roof replaced last winter. The low-pitch with multiple chimneys, vents and sky lights made it complicated. There were a few minor issues initially but Brad made sure that everything was done right. Owner followed up to make sure we were satisfied with service and even left personal cell phone number. Unlike other companies they came when they said they would. I always got phone calls if there was any change in plans or issues.

  Five stars all the way. From the salesperson to the cleanup everything was perfect. The crew was neat and efficient. Got the house roofed in a day when I expected it to be three. All work was excellent and I would recommend these guys anytime. Price was excellent, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Money well spent.

  Complete gutter replacement on our home - excellent, prompt service, competitive quote, completed on time and as quoted. Excellent updates on job progress. Left property clean of all work debris. Beautiful job - Highly recommended!

  Natural disasters are traumatic and taxing on everyday life... However the team of Carolina Home Specialist and Tim Ilderton erased bad memories with a professional and courteous attitude throughout the process in making our home whole again. Everyone on the site crew worked with diligent expertise and craftsmanship. They worked in a safe manner and maintained the job site extremely well.. With a new roof, siding, windows and guttering  this disaster ended as a very positive experience. If you are in need of a contractor for a build or rebuild..have no reservations in contacting Tim Ilderton  and  Carolina Home Specialists – VJ Padgett and PD Hulon
