Stephen was very helpful, and really showed that he wanted to get me into a car that I really liked, even though we had to go through a couple options and only had a limited amount of credit and cash down which to work with, he made it real simple and easy.

3rd time here for my husband and every time has been great. Stephen came outside right away and knew exactly who my husband was. We would recommend them to everyone, they really want to help people out, and are very friendly.

Absolutely mind blown. I have had a 2006 Kia Sorento from CarHop for a year and a half now. They kept blowing up my phone telling me I am eligible for a trade in for a bigger nicer car with lower payments. I finally decided to go in and see what I could do. I get there and go through all the updates for them to tell me an hour later that I need a co signer because I don’t have enough income. Let’s not forget, I have been a loyal customer for a year and a half making consistent payments on my current vehicle. So I don’t understand how me getting a different vehicle with lower payments should be a problem if I’m already consistently paying more in payments with my income. Well whatever. My boyfriend co signs for me. They finally 2 hours later tell me the vehicle I want requires 900$ down. Ummm excuse me? I was told I could do a trade in n get a bigger better vehicle with lower payments. Why do I have to give you more money down to do so? They can obviously see that I am making my payments on time. So I turn down the vehicle n I’m ready to leave. Celeste from the Maplewood location (working in St. Cloud for the day) offers me a 2004 Chevy Suburban for my trade in. So I decide I would go look at it and test drive it. Here’s the worst part, I go to start the truck n it doesn’t start. Red flag. But my boyfriend said it’s juat the battery, so we charged it. Turn the truck on to see that the gas light is on. By this time we already have my son car seat buckled, ready to test drive. Well Devon gets in n we go to get gas. We break down not even a block from carhop. He then proceeds to tell me “I told Celeste that this car wasn’t ready to be sold, it needed to go to the shop because someone used a drill it n put a hole in the gas tank, but she didn’t listen.” So I said, why the hell is she trying to sell me a car with a hole in the gas tank?” He decided to stick up for her and tell me that she’s from a different store so she doesn’t know inventory. Ok cool. My question is; why the hell did Devon still try to sell me this car knowing the problems it had and that it wasn’t for sell yet? Why did he let us buckle my sons seat, charge the battery and even leave with my son in the truck knowing we weren’t going to make it, due to a hole in the gas tank? It’s was absolutely mind blowing. I can’t even believe what they tried to do to us. I walked back to carhop, got my car, went and grabbed my son n boyfriend and I left. Isn’t that illegal? Can dealerships really sell you cars when they know there is that much damage? I will never trade in my car and start another loan with them. I am blown away by the customer service I received. They should be shut down. If we would have made it to the gas station n went back to sign papers, we would have broke down on the way home. CarHop if St. Cloud gets zero stars from me. They are horrible, heartless, conniving people.

Stephen was such a great salesman to work with . I had such a low down payment and other issues. They never gave up they got me into a 2001 ford focus . Stephen and Cindi were great in doing what ever it took to get me into a vehicle.

IF YOU VALUE YOIR LIFE DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! I purchased a 2002 jeep from these "people" and i wish i never did. They sold me a car with a severe brake problem. My brakes completely locked up on me after owning the car for 2 days!! I called and they did get itin a shop. Then 2 weeks later it happened again, and with winter coming i needed to make sure my car was in running order. So again i placed it in the shop, they told them to simply bleed my brakes and sent me on my way. Now yesterday my brakes locked again, but this time on ice. I hit a gaurd rail doing 55 mph on a straight road because they didnt want to spend the money to fix something that should have been fixed before they ever sold that car. Thank god i walked away. Also my air bags never deployed, which my insurance is looking into as well. I am a mom, this could have killed my kids or me. I will preach to anyone and everyone who will listen, do not buy a car from here, or it may be your life.
