  My husband and I were 2 months into the refinance process with Navy Federal Credit Union. Having prior background in the mortgage industry, I was completely appalled with the lack of progress, communication, and customer service from NFCU. When I called to get a status update on our loan, I was told, "I'm sorry, but there are other people trying to refinance at the same time you are." We were already 2 months in, our escrow and appraisal hadn't even been ordered and our rate lock was about to expire right before the election. By fate, I ran into a couple who was closing on their refinance. When I told them our story, I was referred to Mike Wise at Capstone with raving reviews. I immediately cancelled our loan with NFCU and contacted Mike. Mike and his staff were absolutely amazing. We were able to get a stellar rate, our escrow and appraisal were ordered within the first few days, communication and customer service was perfect (even with other people refinancing at the same time), and our loan closed in less than a month. This is a company who definitely puts their clients first and I am so thankful to have been referred to Mike. Without a doubt, Mike and his staff are the best and a rare find in the industry.

  I highly recommend Kelly McKinney. If you are looking to finance a loan, you found a gem! Kelly is absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure the entire experience was perfectly smooth and flawless. Kelly was very personable and pleasant to deal with; we truly felt like old friends. She responds to any form of communication, whether it’s phone, email or even text message immediately including after hours, weekend and holidays! She is simply AMAZING!
