  I live in Fort Dodge. I have been a member for many years but only used the Credit Union for car loans. I always found everyone there to be friendly and accommodating. Recently we applied for a home equity loan to pay off all high interest credit cards. Linda Khamboun is the person we worked with. I cannot say enough good things about her and the Credit Union. We encountered some US mail issues and had to go through some extra steps such as setting up a checking account etc. we would have had to drive 90 miles to resolve some issues but allowing us to use documents signed over the phone etc it saved us several trips to DSM. Linda was always able to work out solutions that were the most convenient and easy for “technology impaired “ people like us ! I would recommend Capitol View to anyone who wants a more friendly customer oriented banking place!

  Diane is such a jewel! Makes borrowing so simple. Her Customer service skills are exemplary to say the least. She is a 10 in our book!

  Capitol View Credit Union is my primary financial institution. All the staff is very friendly even when I call on the phone. They offer remote access to services through the Credit Union Network. I especially appreciate the assistance with the car loan. It took me several months to find the right car and the loan officer was there every step of the way. I would highly recommend Capitol View to any and all.

  I live in eastern Iowa and have been a Capitol View customer for over 20 years. I have never physically met any of the employees, but have conducted my business via phone, email, and fax. Even though I have never "met" them, I know them. They are always there when I need them for all of my banking needs - share and savings accounts, auto and home loans, home equity loans, and credit cards. In my opinion, this is one of the best credit unions around.

  I've been banking at CVCU since I was little. All my life there has been outstanding employees there. I've gotten several loans that were great rates. They care about you and you are able to become part of the bank by being part of their board or go to meetings and such. Great bank! Also I just checked out guy who have a bad review and he doesn't live in Des Moines. This is a local bank and you have to work for the State of Iowa to bank here. I'm not sure what his story is but it looks shady. To Mobile deposit your check is very simple, I always use it, and there are no directions that you would have to reread over and over again. False. Never had issues. I've reported the review as spam as a fake review. Recommend you do too if you know how awesome the credit union is. Thanks!

  The staff at Capitol View become friends with the credit union members. They remember who you are and have always gone the extra mile to help me, my family and many other members I know. You can do with a phone call what other financial institutions require you to do online or with long written applications. Rates are also competitive.

  I love Capitol View Credit Union. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It's nice to go into your financial institution and have the tellers call you by your name. Thank you Capitol View Credit Union staff!!!

  I recommend Capitol View to any State employee. Their service is excellent! My banker Doug Allen is both professional and knowledgeable. Doug is always available to answer my questions and to give me the best possible advice.

  Love the personal service. When I banked at another bank, I was just a number and I received very little service/care when I had questions/concerns. That all changed when I switched to Capitol View CU. I appreciate getting my questions/concerns answered on the very first call or visit. Highly recommend Capitol View CU. Keep up the great work!

  You won't find better people in the banking industry. Capitol View is friendly, fast and accurate just like you want in a banking service. Like small town friendly right here in Des Moines.
