Figured I knew a lot of the mortgage world. Figured it was time to save a little more money and get my first refinance done. It was then I came across the capital bull team. Lawrence McMullin was my agent and from day one came to the table with information and responsiveness. Lawrence helped with the process of turning information I needed to give and got the answers I had back as quickly as can be. Himself as well as the whole team at capital bull helped make this process as quickly, professionally, and as informative as could be. I thank Lawrence and the whole team for a great job. Lauren Winkle1Used this mortgage broker on referral. Always had to call/email for updates on my loan progress and had to ask alot of questions to get any answers. Had two closing dates scheduled to close on my loan and after missing both of those found out I never did have a loan. This was after 5 months!!! Yes, it took five months and alot of back and forth to find out I was never going to be able to get a loan to begin with. I am a single parent and they had me almost drain my savings to pay for an appraisal up front and to pay off a credit card on the promise thats all it would take to close. Now I am out all that money and have to figure out my living situation. This was a simple contract, no real estate agents involved or anything. Do not trust these people with your money, time, or mortgage!!! EDIT TO RESPONSE: Read my review please. I said I had to reach out to you for updates, not that we did not communicate at all. And when I asked direct questions regarding my loan and what was going on your response was that COVID happened. Per the response you sent you are still blaming COVID yet the other lenders that I reached out to to see if they were experiencing the same did not seem to be having the same issue. I did reach out to a new lender now and got an answer almost immediately. When telling them of my experience I was told "I am so sorry Ive never heard of anything like that." COVID happened, yes, but apparently hasnt affected others like it has the lenders you work with. In case you had not noticed, COVID is still happening. Pretty amazing!
Response from the ownerCUSTOMER REFUSED to provide REQUIRED documents; otherwise she would be closed and be in her new home already. I requested some documents and her response was "I am not providing any more f'ing documents, if that kills the deal then so be it" Well it did kill the Deal, so maybe she should point the finger back at herself. Very sorry for your experience Mrs. Winkle.....you applied during one of the worse Pandemics we have ever seen. The Goverment and the Lenders changed the rules constantly, so we were always having to adapt to our economy almost collapsing. Many loans were complete Kicked out of the system during this time, and we are very sorry, as we had no control over these unprecedented factors caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic. As for communication, I am very sorry you feel like we did not communicate much. You had the owners cell phone and he kept in touch during the entire process, sometimes multiples times per day. Yes there were some wait times to hear back from USDA who laid off tons of people in Covid-19 and Wait times to hear back from Lenders and underwriters because they laid off a ton of their workforce during Covid-19, but Ultimately, the owner of CapitalBull Mortgage went above and beyond to keep you informed, he also spent over $200 to fix some credit issues and spend $300 personally paying for your Septic Inspections. That money was a gift and allows you now to go through a new lender now that the pandemic is over. We wish you the best in your quest to buy a new home but are very disappointment in the poor review, when the things you claim are not accurate and were above our control. Updates: Since all these Poor Reviews customer has reached out asking us to help her and provide all her documents and inspections we paid for.
