Wade Mills1A joke of a place. I simply wanted to change a $10bill into quarters… in order to do that they need to run a credit check🤣 bish, I’ll go to Walmart. Clowns.

Taylor Tullmann1Worst bank I’ve used. My father passed away in 2017 and I opened up accounts with them and put the money in there. We pull sell his things as you do after someone dies and I had large checks with big amounts on them. I’ve never had my checks held there. I only speak with one manager there because she knows the story and my account history of the large amounts of money I’ve always had. That manager wasn’t there today, I knew I should’ve waited. The bank teller who helped me today wouldn’t check my other accounts or my history with the bank to see I’ve had big amounts of money in there for 2 years now. She put a hold on my check and refused to take it off. Canceling all accounts with them, because apparently they don’t know how to do their job and listen when a customer comes. There’s a reason I only deal with one specific manager when it comes to my money. What a shame. I very highly recommend you do business somewhere else because these tellers are a joke and don’t listen.

Jas Granger5I left a large Commercial Bank for this Credit Union years ago and have not regretted it at all. I have everything from my checking savings to my credit card, car loan, mortgage and my wifes small business accounts all through First Community. They have always been very helpful in resolving any issues that came up and the tellers are always friendly and patient. My favorite part is they are locally owned and their headquarters is here so the money you pay an interest helps your local community.

Vicki Dillon5I absolutely LOVE First Community Credit Union. The people there are great. Very welcoming, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They love to smile unlike some banks where you go in and it seems like you have ruined their day by coming in. Not at First Community, They love it when you come in and they can answer your questions and they always do their best to accommodate your banking needs.

K script1I Came here a few weeks ago inquiring about opening an account. The personal banker told me I had to have current mail proving address. I left but decided not to go back because she didn’t have a good attitude. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions about the different accounts. Fast forward a few weeks later I decide to go to Great Southern Bank to open an account. They enter my name into the “Chex” system which all financial institutions use before allowing you to open new accounts. I am initially declined to open an account due to information that Great Community Credit Union has put into the system! I don’t even have an account with this credit union but the personal banker put ambiguous negative information in the system. The personal banker at Great Southern Bank said it didn’t make any sense because if I owed money or anything of the sort it would clearly say so but this credit union has a negative mark on the Chex system with absolutely no explanation why. After ONE HOUR of making calls and sending emails the company tells me I can open an account. They have no idea why this credit union did this or what the negative connotation even means. All I did was give this lady my name, asked about accounts and was told to bring back mail. Due to this lady’s incompetence I was almost denied opening a bank account due to information from a place that I’ve never even had an account with! If it weren’t for me being so adamant that I have never even done business with this place I would have been screwed. This is why I decided not to return to this credit union in the first place. It’s not professional and she was treating me like she was doing me a favor. I went to Great Southern Bank received great service and opened an account with a $5000 deposit. I have also successfully convinced my boyfriend to join me at Great Southern even though we live 3 minutes from this credit union.

Matt Queen5Odd to say but I LOVE this bank! Special shout out to my local Fenton branch. Almost everyone I have dealt with there has been AMAZING at customer service, so friendly and helpful. Awesome people like Meagan have blown me away. Rates/Fees are awesome. I recommend this bank to all my friends/family looking to make a switch.

Richard c3I have had various accounts here over the last 10 years. Their In person customer service is great but the 2 guys ive spoken with on the phone(I assume they are at the chesterfield location) are terrible. They were short and cut me off when I was trying to ask a question. The guy I spoke with today was acting like I was wasting his time for having to ask a question.

Diana Bouse5I would recommend First Community in Fenton, Missouri to anyone who wants personalized service, excellent rates, and the nicest tellers/associates a person could ever find anywhere. They greet you when you come in, and know you by name. There are no stupid fees or hidden charges on accounts. When you need specialized help, as with loans or certificates, they explain everything, and are always available to answer questions. They always treat you with kindness and respect. If you dread going to your current financial institution, check out First Community in Fenton - you'll make the switch!
