Capital One Bank Reviews

NYC5Karen and Emily were both helpful and very nice, and helped me out with a frustrating situation. Plus they were nice and patient which, in the moment, was probably the best gift they could have given me. Their patience and niceness helped ground me in the moment. These two ladies made me realize Capital One is cool! Karen was nice, responsive and helpful even when things got complicated with another branch, and Emily was super nice and really helpful, and was able to help complete the important business task when another location dropped the ball. Plus made sure everything was good to go before I made a long trip from Manhattan. Wouldn’t recommend Union Square but this location really turned around my opinion of Capital One.

Nicole Hughes1As a customer I’m appalled and angry that Capital One Bank closed not 1 not 2 but all 3 of their STATEN ISLAND locations. This is NOT ok!!! I have to pay a toll and drive to Brooklyn to get MYYYY money or use random atm machines at delis or pharmacies...it’s unacceptable and not a word was said to the most important people your CUSTOMERSSSS! I’ve called Customer Service and they don’t even know what to say. It’s disgusting. I will be switching banks soon.

Bryan John1When bank is closed, security man never wears a mask! I have been to this branch location and there is always some man in the ATM room. Most times, the guy does not even wear a mask. Covid-19 and variants still out there!! I'm going to close my Capital One account and switch to Chase!!!
Response from the ownerThe health, safety and well-being of our customers, associates and communities remains our top priority. We've shared this feedback with leadership to ensure your voice is heard.^AS

Sarah Catalano5Everything was good at this Branch was pretty fast. Best time to go to the bank before 10:00 am. because after I left the bank it started getting busy.

Se G1Waited 30 minutes for customer service. Signed in on the iPad and had 3 other people that walked in after get served (not counting one poor man who walked out/ obviously upset because of the lack chaos in this branch) I would rather wait 30 minutes to talk to customer service than anyone in this branch.
Response from the ownerWe know the waiting game's never a good time & we've doc'd this review to get in front of the right eyes so your voice is heard. ^NW

S S1Poor customer service. Went in to open an account at about 4pm (they close at 5pm) and sat to wait my turn. Basically the man said he was going to take long and wasn't planning on being there after 5pm. I'm sorry but customer service wise if I walked in at 4:59pm you should technically still assist me as you are taking customers till 5pm.
