California Credit Union Reviews

Mingzhao Xu1Terrible customer service and procedure. Opened a promotional CD and the website was difficult to navigate. They had an online chat person who provided inconsistent responses. In one case, when I was about to close the CD upon maturity, got FALSE information all around from at least two persons, one in the LA branch (818 area code. Note that these branches all have different names as they used to be separate local unions but merged under the CCU. Not that it improved them in any way. In the branch, the agents were rude and indifferent. I saw many people making a run. They'll probably all go out of business. After all the runaround I got my bonus but wouldn't recommend this dysfunctional system to any one. Glad I got my money out in time.
