sarah ferguson1Michael Burns bought the home that my 3 children and I am living in. My previous landlord and I have a contract and it is up in January 2022. The home is very old, with many problems and needs a large amount of work. I am on disability due to chronic illness. Mr. Burns has been harassing me and attempting to strong arm me no into moving out and breaking my lease. It's bad enough that I will be leaving my home with no where to go in the winter. Now this slum Lord is threatening me with eviction for no reason. He has even hinted that he will 'find' a problem and We'll be out.

michellebmonique1Purchased a flipped home from Michael Burns this last year. Second day living here the basement started leaking water. Unsure what caused it but probably the fact they took out several bushes and shrubs in the yard and just laid new grass down and didn’t level it. Two sinks started leaking the first week we moved in. Was just told by a plumber there is no venting for the Sewer, and the one that looks like it would be has been Purposely clogged up, not sure why? The lights in house flicker when dryer is on? The sewer backed up into the house. Was told by the plumbers the plumbing under sinks were not correct and to get fixed before they start leaking, to late for that. Heating duct is set up all wrong. Very little heat/air going into the rooms. Had the home insurance come look. They won’t cover it cause they are saying instillation was done incorrect. I’d have to pay to have it all reconfigured. Due to a Sewer flood we had to pull out dry wall in the basement which his team installed. No insulation in the walls against the basement foundation. I spoke to the original owner of the home who went over what the house looked like and what was done in it at the time they sold it to his team. I would recommend if you are thinking of buying one of his flipped homes from him you pay to have a real plumber/electric and heating come give you their opinion. I’d also highly recommend a Meth test. And you pay someone to do the meth test, after talking with my friend who worked for him you probably shouldn’t leave it to them to do. After i bought the house a friend of mine came to see me whom use to work for the team. He said he quit for good reason and wasn’t surprised by the issues I was having. He said he wished he had known we were buying a home from them, he would have discouraged it. I’ve been stressed out since we moved it. I dont trust any of the work done to it, especially knowing now the home warranty and home insurance won’t pay for any damage if it was due to incorrect installation.
