  We went to Golden West Credit Union to apply for a car loan. Upon walking in, we were met with disapproving looks from the assistant Manager when we asked to meet with her. In a very rude tone, she told us that it would take at least 24 hours. We told her that we wanted to start to loan process and her response was that it it would "take a long time, like 4-5 hours" we told her we would wait as the seller of the vehicle was with us. The seller was also fine waiting. The attitude from this loan officer was extremely rude. She tried multiple times to get us to leave and I felt like she did not want us to do business with them. With in only a few minutes I told my wife that we will never come back and bank here. We did wait 4 hours, the loan was approved and we left with many questions in regards to the loan. We never felt welcomed and felt much like we were a burden and inconvenience to this loan officer. I have a few family members who work in banks, so while the loan process was proceeding I was texting them my questions, as I felt every question asked to this loan officer was met with minimal response and hostility. We could not get out of there fast enough. Upon completion of this loan, I will be closing all accounts and moving banks.

  I used to love using Usu credit union but since they have merged with golden west it has gone way down hill what used to take about 30 min now takes multiple days and you are dealing with someone 100 plus miles from where you actually are. I hope they can figure this out before my next loan I need from them or I think I will end up switching all my stuff to my other credit union.

  Adrian made it super easy and simple to get my auto loan. She worked with me for as long as I needed to and was able to get me situated in a timely manner so I could pick up my child from school. I highly recommend her. I’m very pleased with how easy the process was!

  I came in for an auto loan about an hour before close on a Saturday. We went through the whole process but it took a bit longer to get the documents they needed to them.closing time came but Becky was willing to stay late just to help me get my loan finished. When all was said and done it was almost an hour after closing when we finished. This saved me tons of time from having to come back another day. Thank you Becky for being so willing to help out!!!

  Was looking for a loan for a personal purchase. Loan officer Adrian B. made it super simple and easy. Whole process too very little time and was a great reminder of why I choose to do business with a local credit union instead of a big bank.

  The assistant manager said they don't know how to process my check and said she will talk to a specialist and call me back on Monday and I will have to come back again. It's been almost a week now with no calls and a pending check.
