  This credit union is pretty top notch. Rarely I come across an institution this friendly, helpful and efficient in getting everything i need done. It has a solid team in a generally nice area, theres a minimal wait to get anything done. Top marks for me and definitely recommended.

  My husband and I have been members for 5 years. Saw a few convincing documentaries about the banking industry and didn't wish to further contribute to the privileges one percent. Little did we know the obstacles and inadequacies of a credit union would parallel those of the big establishments; at least for the next few years. Fast forward to the last 6-8 months. Subtleties began to catch my attention. Transactions at the drive through only took a few minutes instead of the standard 15. Plus, I'd be greeted on screen by a smiling associate to see if I was ok if it took me a bit to sort out my deposit.(a year or two back, I always had this feeling that I was bothering them).However, anytime I would go in the building BEFORE, the tellers always made me uncomfortable as they ,typically, would try to get me to apply for this "great credit card".... Yeah. So, I went in today to discuss some issues that, in the past, I would find myself leaving frustrated ,while scratching my head as if someone just pulled a fast on on me. Because, see, even if you know you're not at fault,RARELY will you find any bank to even listen to you, much less, come into a real solution . But, not today. Sandy, new manager of 6 months, not only listened with heart-felt compassion, but, dealt with my dilemma with integrity, respect and good ole' kindness. At a time in my life that has fiercely tested the strength of my sobriety, Sandy dared to display her humanness while remaining professional. She also wasn't afraid to ask for help and input. I was pleased, no, SOOOO pleased to learn that she found a solution for me. I am grateful beyond words. And I'm going to remember this day; when the value of a relationship weighed more than an ego.

  I love this branch! Always clean and never a wait. Staff is amazing and well knowledgeable. They really go above and beyond for you in any transaction and actually funny to boot! 5 stars for a 5 Star all across the board service.

  The absolute WORST bank that I have ever dealt with! No parking at this location unless you want to park in the parking garage dedicated to another business, then walk back through where cars come in to get to sidewalk to walk half a block to their entrance. What about people who need handicap accessibility? How are they allowed to get away with that? Customer service does not respond until 5 - 7 days later, they do not have a dedicated 24 hour call line for issues past 5pm, their drive through teller is ANCIENT and don't accidentally charge over on your account, because they will hold posting of the smallest items until last and you will pay a FORTUNE as they will charge as many NSF fees as possible and not help you by crediting ANY of them when you discuss it with them. The worst bank ever.

  Love BrightStar !!! This location is extremely efficient. Got my loan approved in less than 5 minutes, and so did my brother! The staff at this location is amazing! BrightStar is my new bank of choice.

  Brightstar Credit union very unprofessional, inconsiderate, and rude to their customers. For years I have witnessed this on first hand with my car loan. I believe in providing the best service as possible when it comes to any business. I’m not sure if the effort is poor in the hiring process, business culture, or leadership but this is the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with in my life. To all my fellow Floridian residents, I warn you, DO NOT use brightstar credit union if you seek adequate service and if you value your time and money. Beware of “Javier” who I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. (Worst experience ever with professionalism.)

  Without a doubt I can honestly that the customer service at the Bright Star branch downtown Fort Lauderdale was exceptional. Would recommend Bright Star to all my friends and family. Great staff and the customer service was awesome

  I came in for an increase on my credit card due to some unexpected situation, the managers there were very supportive, sat with me and processed it on the spot. I left very happy & approved! It was my blessing.
