      This bank is by far the worst customer service bank ever. Their hours are terrible the majority of the staff are very unfriendly. They need a full management change here. They use to be one of the best, now they are the leaders in bad service.

      Update your website! Went out of my way for a drive through open early, only to find out the website for the Algonquin location is wrong! Let's hope your technology for online banking is better than your communication for something so basic to your business

      I've been doing banking with this branch for over 20 years for my parents. The banker Parma has moved over to the elk Grove village branch as a manager now and Alexis who was the banker I spoke to was very helpful and friendly and work with me. It seems this is a old traditional bank where things move a bit slowly and I think that is based on staffing issues or rotating staff around at this branch at the moment. It took a while to see a banker and one gentleman came in and it was taking too long and he left this appeared to be for a new account but I can't be sure. If you're able to wait if there's a lot of people ahead of you it's worth the wait. It seems that this bank is suffering from what is known as the newspaper problem and dealing with erratic demand. If too many people come in all at one time the staff is not equipped to handle large groups of customers at one time. This may be a temporary situation that could get resolved quickly in the future as the staffing gets ramped back up again. Handicapped accessible parking and doors are available.

      Hours posted on door, windows and internet are apparently all incorrect as the drive thru closes at 5PM. I got there a few minutes before 5PM and they had turned closed signs on and refused to acknowledge me even though another vehicle was being waited on. Every encounter I have with this bank is “the customer comes last”.

      I’ve been a Harris customer for 20+ years. Today I went to my branch to deposit coins. We generally cash coins in every other year, but with the coin shortage we decided to cash them in before the end of the year. Best guess we had approximately $400. I was shocked to be told the bank no longer takes coins unless they are hand rolled. The teller offered rolls but I said no thank you. She indicated that the bank no longer has a coin counting machine. She told me that when needed the bank employees hand roll coins. Well I guess we have now seen the end of Harris being a full service bank. Also it is hard to believe that a bank would rather pay to have coins rolled manually rather than let a labor saving device save time and improve accuracy. I can tell you that I am very disappointed in BMO Harris customer service. I currently have checking, savings and a mortgage. In the past I have had car loans and home improvement loans. I have never considered banking with any other bank. Today I will be calling around and if I find a local bank that still provides full service then I will likely look for ways to switch banks.

      I went to the branch to first get information about my recently deceased mom's accounts. The personal bankers were the rudest people I ever encountered. I called ahead to see what I needed to bring to get information and was told the death certificate was enough. When I went in, I was told they couldn't talk to me with only the death certificate. Frustrated with the conflicting info, I started leaving the bank and the banker yelled across the room at me, "Well mam, it's banking 101 [that they needed more paperwork to talk to me]!" I was never treated so rudely.

      Worst bank and branch ever! Went there twice in one week to see a banker to resolve my mobile app issue. First time they only had 1 banker and 5 people waiting, next time 2 bankers both with no customers at their desks and nobody was assisting clients in the lobby..waited about 10 min and still nothing. Today I called customer service and wanted business online banking rep only to be transferred around 3 times from one person to another claiming it is not business depy. They cannot even transfer you internally to a right dept...so incompetent. Wasted 20 min on the phone and finally hung up on me.

      No stars. Their ATMs are always broke. Yesterday, my deposits were taken by the machine and then it crashed. I called the branch, multiple times, no answer. Customer service team put in a request for my deposits to be reviewed. What would they do if I didn't have records of what I put in? Totally unprofessional.
