      As a customer that has done business with Harris Bank for almost 3 decades, I am leaving a 5 Star review not because they are perfect, no one is. I am leaving a 5 star review because as an owner / operator of two 33 year old businesses, I have noticed the recent addition of a dedicated bank manager Julie Caballero. Julie has brought a new dedicated management spirit to what was already a great group of people. Please understand that as a business owner who has managed teams of as many as 35 people in my 33 year career. In conversations with Julie, since she has started working at this location together I have noticed that she understands the value of teaching the team how to provide excellent customers service the way she provides it. My belief is you want your team handle every interaction the way you would as a leader. Once your team is focused on the same goals, you as leader can focus on new innovative ways to come up with solutions to improve employee environment, plus have time to listen to your team feed back, then use that information to come up with creative solutions to provide the best product possible to the customer. Its a Win ! Win ! for everybody.. As a customer when you go into this location be patient and understand there is a leader in place working very hard with a great passion striving to provide a great product and service " Remember we are all just people in this world trying to make it though life with the skills we have learned along the way "

      What a rubbish bank. My husband is a business owner for last 10 years. A BMO loan officer contacted my husband to apply for a Business Credit Card so he did. My husband's FICO score is 710 and they still declined him after they were the ones approaching him. We have been banking with BMO for 4 years, I cannot imagine how they must treat new customers. The woman who talked down to my husband on the phone said they are "an Elite" Bank, insinuating that we are beneath them. Go into one of the branches and see how crappy they are. Elite my behind. They just lost our accounts, $700k went through the 2 accounts every year, they won't have our business ever again.

      What a useless bank. My wife and I applied for a car loan for our daughter who is going to college and got denied with no explanation even though we have spotless credit and 17 year home ownership. We got our car loan from Chase instead. I have closed our 6 year old checking account with bmo. Why are you people in business? This is not a review of the branch but of the Bank itself.

      If I could give ZERO STARS, I would - Let me first say, I was a customer for 8 years and 2 months. Now, Thursday, I did notice I was $2.90 short on payment. So at 9:50 CDT, I put a deposit in, for $100 cash via the ATM machine. I thought that would have taken care of my issue - and it should have. The next day, about 4 pm, I found that the one payment I was short was returned. I called the customer service line, where the "gentleman" and I use that term loosely, was uncooperative, indicating because I didn't deposit the money by 6 pm, it would count on next day's business. By the way, Chase bank, would have honored the deposit, as long as it was in by 10 pm. He was totally rude about it, and I then said, "well obviously we aren't going to get anywhere..." so the next day, I went into the branch, explained the situation, was told there was nothing they could do. This is how Harris treats a long time customer, who probably have had almost $500,000 in assets and payable go thru its servicing. Again, this is Harris, treating clients like cattle, and not giving its clients the benefit of the doubt. Obviously, I closed the account immediately, and recommend, all, to not use them.

      Not a bank for regular working people, it's impossible to ever walk in and bank with them, their hours don't allow for a 9-5 person to walk in ever. No coin counting, they'll give you sleeves but who counts pennys and rolls them anymore? It's 2019 c'mon! The drive thru ATM isnot for big SUVs or pick-up trucks too narrow.

      I was new to the state and decided to open my account with BMO Harris Bank since we have BMO in Canada and my dad has been satisfied with their service. I was told I could open a chequing account online so I did. I was in the middle of finding an apartment so I didn't have an IL address at the time so I had to use my Canadian address. When I got the account I was told my signature card was being sent to my Canadian address. I let them know that I wasn't there and asked if they would send it to my temporary address in IL and they told me no they can't. They told me to get someone to send it to me from Canada. I mean what is that? Anyways, I decided to just go to a branch close to where I was staying at the time and explained to the banker what was going on. I ended up signing the signature card there. I was then told to make a $100 deposit in order for them to order my debit card. I came in a few days later to do that. I was told my card was ordered and it would be there in a week. I told them to order it to the branch since they won't ship it to any other address than my Canadian one and they agreed. I didn't get any phone calls about my card so I called the branch 2 weeks later to ask them about my card and some woman picked up. She was confused about my card being ordered to the branch and told me it wasn't there. She told me to call next week. By this time I had moved into an apartment and updated my address at another branch (well at least I was told that). I called back 1 week later and after talking to 2 people, the man on the phone checked and saw that my card wasn't even ordered! Can you believe that? Firstly I can't believe they didn't order it. Secondly when I called after 2 weeks why didn't the lady check and see it wasn't ordered? Ridiculous, clearly these people don't know how to do their jobs at all. In between all that I had called the banker I dealt with asking him about my card. I didn't get a call back until 2-3 days later which I ended up missing. I called back and since he never picked up I left a message. It's been 2 weeks and he hasn't called back yet. Anyways, the man who told me they hadn't ordered the card apologized and said he would order it right then and I told him to make sure it gets shipped to my IL address. He took it down and told me it would. This was a thursday when I had called him, he told me the card would be in my mailbox latest the following thursday. I checked my mail friday and guess what? NO CARD. I called BMO again (not the branch since it was closed) and the woman on the phone told me the card was shipped BUT to my Canadian address. I mean, really? How do you hire people at a respectable bank that can't do one thing right. I was told my card would be expedited to my IL address- but it's still going to take a week? I mean come on, the least they could do is have it fedex-ed overnight or something for all the bullshit I've dealt with. I regret going into the Lisle branch and I regret opening an account with BMO Harris and wish I went with another bank. I'm moving my account somewhere else. I was looking into getting a BMO credit card but no way, I'll go with a different bank this time.

      I've been going to this branch for many years, my whole family has accounts there though I no longer do. I always used to go in (maybe once or twice a year) and bring in change that I collected in my ashtray and have them run it through their coin counting machine. When I went to the teller she asked if I had an account. I said I no longer do. She said she can only count the coins through the machine for people who have an account. Nevermind that I have been going to this exact branch for 25years. But this is the sad state of our country now. I will not walk in again. I will never open an account with them. There is no obligation to serve the community and attract accounts. As I said before this is the sad state of our country. And I had been in here to have them count change many times even when I no longer had an account. Oh and by the way there was not a single customer inside, I was the only one. Not like I was taking someone else's time.

      Been going to this bank for years and have dealt if its not disrespect its waiting 20 mins. They blame there mistakes on them not listening. I'll be closing my account with BMO because of this branch.
