Placed a wire transfer request at approx 12:30pm on a Friday at Boardwalk branch. Funds were withdrawn out of my account at that time. Was told 2:30pm was wire request cutoff time. As of 10:00 am on the following Monday (70 hours later), funds had not arrived at receiving entity, so I attempted to find out where my money was because it had been taken out of my account. After attempting to call Boardwalk branch, leaving vm's, sending emails, and getting no response, I finally reached someone at HQ branch in Cheyenne. I stayed on hold for 43 minutes while she tried to find someone to help me (and thanks to her for her attempts). At end of 43 minute call, she did get in touch with agent at Boardwalk Branch, and transferred my call. Boardwalk Agent tried to call wire department to find out when funds would be wired, but again, could not reach anyone. I canceled the wire at that time. So disappointed, as have previously had good experiences with Blue at other branches.

I get a thirty dollar fine if a bill doesn’t take out money Like, my I have my streaming services set up for auto pay And if they try & take out when I don’t have enough for them, the bank declines it (which is what I wanted) But then they fine me $30 for it, each time. Not a good business. Avoid this credit union.

Terrible customer service. This credit union co-ops with our regular bank - we used their ATM to deposit almost $2000. It glitches out mid transaction canceling and keeping our cash. Things happen - but then the manager with the least amount of empathy tells me sorry about your luck, call your bank and file a dispute. Because this happened at a bank ATM, my Credit union is unable to replace the funds until they get confirmation from this bank, who could care less.

Do NOT get a credit card through Blue FCU!! We were told that the card was through Blue, but that was a lie. We hadn't even received the cards in the mail and there was already a fraudulent charge on the card. We went in to talk to Blue and they said that they would contact the fraud department and handle the problem. The charge was removed, however the due amount still reflected the fraudulent charge. When we called Blue to figure out why, they first gave us the run around of someone will call you back, no one ever did. When we finally got ahold of someone, they said that they couldn't help us with anything, nothing! That we needed to call a separate company, the one the cards actually belonged too, to get anything done. Now there is still a cash advance fee on the Blue statement and we haven't used the card!! Another fraudulent charge, and they can't help!

I’ve been with this bank for nearly 12 years now, back when they were Warren Federal Credit Union. Over the past few years service has plummeted. Their debit cards are horrible cheap quality, to talk to anyone at a local branch over the phone is nearly impossible. Everything has gone automated. The last straw was during the process of refinancing with this organization, where it was near to impossible to contact the loan officer, they tried to change the loan to upsell insurance and other unnecessary services. Calls and emails were rarely returned, it would take a day to get a response back or I’d have to pester them to get a response. I guess at this point you only get support with this bank whenever it’s convenient to the bankers and loan officers. With the size this bank has reached there’s no excuse to not have staffing to at least answer a phone or return an email. I’d reccomend another bank.

I love Blue Federal Credit Union. I have been a member for close to 5 years now and we have loved banking there. We tried a different Colorado Credit Union and within months I could tell it wasn’t the place for my family and started shopping around for something else. We now have checking and savings accounts as well as 2 car loans. This is my favorite branch to go into since everyone is so cheerful and welcoming. Many of the tellers and loan officers even know our names. The last time we went in to get preapproved for a car loan the head of the loan department for the whole company was there and stopped to talk to us and congratulate us on the new car on his way out. By far my favorite part is the Manager April she invites me into her office whenever she can for a quick chat and I’ve truly started to feel like she is a friend. That’s what I want in my bank and that’s why I choose to stay with BLUE!

Got a loan on an offroad vehicle. Never got any info on the loan. I had to call and figure out my account info. I received an email saying I needed insurance on it or they would place their own. I added insurance at $200 a year. Then I got a bill after the fact for $700 for the time it took me to get insurance. 2 phone calls trying to make sense of this and I've got nothing but rudeness. Just told it was in the papers I signed. I signed a lot of papers and I have no copy of this. It feels pretty crooked but they tricked me fair and square according to them.

They charge additional fees to make payments with a direct withdrawal. They make paying loans off a complete nightmare. By far the worst credit union I have worked with. I will never get a loan with them again. It's like pulling hair to get them to help with anything. Staff is rude and their level of customer service is dreadful. There are plenty of other CU's out there that are far better.
