  Save your money and take it elsewhere. Not sure if the other reviews are model homes or inventory homes. New builds have been a horrible experience here from the sales team Rochelle, John to the construction foreman Trim and Travis. I've argued with sales about chipped tubs being installed in our home and everything else in between. Construction project managers just give nothing but excuses and back push install scratched stoves with rusted stove grills to dented cabinets with blotch spots. We had someone from their team come out and let us know they fired the person who installs cabinets in big sky ranch due to this persons work we now have to live with. Everything is inconsistent in this neighborhood you can compare the same model homes and notice differences such as them not finishing tile around the bath tubs and leaving it unfinished and then finishing two layers of tile above their bathrooms in other homes. I'm writing this review because every time someone says it's noted nothing is done and we shouldn't have to be fighting for a brand new home to be repainted, retextured with knockdown drywall, broken fence planks installed, chipped bathroom counter tops, scuffs on brand new base board, dripped paint on our stairwell stained rails, paint issues all over the house, sink holes in the drive way causing bent water sprinkler pipes, exposed water sprinkler pipes, sandpaper concreted into our front brick, cabinets in restrooms not able to open, Ive had construction workers next door on both sides pour concrete and it back-splashing onto my side panels, I can go on and on and list pictures which will be my next steps. Anyone who has Meritage build their new dream house as a new build will be disappointed and if you still want to move forward after reviewing this you better stay on them. I've even had their sales rep run to their sales VP to threaten to terminate my contract and that they can end it and sell this house we built to someone else and that it will sell. This whole team does not have it together nothing but them acknowledging taking notes and taking weeks to get back to do something. Save yourself headaches and frustration and find a better builder than Meritage Homes in Big Sky Ranch. They've also told me there are no perfect houses. John Glore Homes states he builds every door every window ever house like it's his own or his neighbors that's the type of builder I should have went with someone that takes pride in what their operations, construction ops and overall product extremely disappointed I purchased my first home with this builder!

  I cannot wait to live in this neighborhood. Our construction manager Seth is great. Side Note: the completion of founders park road has nothing to do with Meritage. The city is waiting on TXDot to let them connect to RR12.

  The team at Texana Ranch was super responsive and knowledgeable. John Perez was very helpful. He spent alot of time to explain everything. Janet Havel, the VP of sales was very professional and helpful also. Meritage hires some good people to work for them.
