  I used to like Big Picture Loans, always promt and fast, this week I am unsure what happened, loan has been pending now for over a week, tried emailing only to get generic response, update so I also get text alerts saying they got the payment , thanks for payment, they have banking information but yet still need to call and verify again🙄🙄🙄🙄, it's still been over a week and Loan is Still pending......

It seems the issue with the new loan is we can not originate a new loan until we can verify the last payment of the current loan. This can take 3 to 5 days. It looks like we were able to get this resolved as I see your application has been approved. We appreciate your patience.

  I received a 200 dollar loan from these people when I was utterly and truely desperate. I ended up paying well over 1000 dollars before the life of the loan was completed. These predatory loans should be illegal. These people prey on people with bad credit and send them what appears to be a lifeline when your head is just barely above water.. Well I hate to break it to you but it's not a lifeline but a cinderblock tied around your ankles.. Christ maybe those Muslim countries have it right, maybe ursury should be a capital crime.

We try to make our fees and rates as low as possible based on credit history -- and as clear as possible in the application process. We are MUCH cheaper than payday loans and predatory alternatives. Our simple-interest installment loans are designed to provide fast, necessary funding when other options aren't available. Our loans are short-term loans and we suggest loans be repaid as soon as possible to minimize the amount of interest paid.

  I agree with what everyone is saying with the high interest rate which is true. To get a 750.00 you will pay back triple that amount if you stay with the payment schedule. I really needed the money at the time, my credit is not the best but they took a chance on me and I took a chance on them. I of course didn't stick to the payment schedule had my loan paid off within 2 paychecks. Get the loan out of the way. But yea I do agree with the reviews with the high interest rate.

  After taking all my personal info then they get to the payback a $700 loan would be charged 560% I declined and waiting for verification all my info has been removed. Also their business practices are illegal in my State Forwarding to our Atty Gen. Hopefully out of business soon.. Your reply, is semi accurate. The fact you operate within a tribal guideline eliminates government control. My banking information was not needed at all for your determination. Lastly after speaking with my AG, I was correct your business practices are illegal in my state even while hiding behind tribal law and its conference. You are far from a reputable lender and your practices would be illegal without the help and hiding your company under their jurisdiction. You help people that can't otherwise secure a loan while charging them over 500% in interest. Seems like your heartfelt actions to help the poor are what contributes to a much bigger problem that the one they encountered. You should be shut down and a regulatory commission from the State of Michigan should start the prosecution...

  Hi Steve, with respect, we believe you have us all wrong. Our business practices are not illegal. We are legal to practice in most states and if you live in a state in which we can not practice our online system will not let you continue with the application process once you enter your address and it is flagged as a state that we cannot lend. We need to get all your personal information so we can determine whether or not you qualify for a loan and what the APR will be. Without this information, we could not process a loan. We are normally known for being able to help those who otherwise can't get a loan when they really need it, even with bad credit and no co-signer or collateral.   After taking all my info 2x and no word, I finally called the 1800 number.. Turns out i needed to sign a 3rd time because something was wrong. Nothing was wrong.. I got no call or confirmation either way from anyone to inform me of my status. Because all the red flags went up.. A little to late I might add.. I asked to cancel my application. I have requested the cancel con formation 2x and nothing tangible has hit me inbox yet. Crooks extorting your personal details. Please don't fall pray. Its an awful feeling trust me

  1.5+ hours on phone and issue STILL not resolved! They overdrew my account by taking almost $100 more than was due for final Payment. No one (4 agents so far) could resolve fully or explain what happened. Tried to explain final payment was a “settlement” Payment, however NOTHING in everything I received indicated anything of the sort.

  This is a very unethical company. If you need to take out a loan to get yourself out of a financial situation, which most people are probably trying to do, they will then turn around and charge you 300% interest on the loan you take out with them. How is that helping anyone that is in a financial situation? Literally makes no sense and shows that they don't care about their customers like they say they do, but instead about making profits for themselves. Oh, and they also don't let you use a credit card to pay off your balance when your credit card has an interest of most likely less than 25%. That doesn't help anyone trying to get financially back on their feet. They should be ashamed of the way they do their business here.

  They sent me a letter in the mail which made me curious, so after I fill out the information they requested to find out they only offered $1200 at a 500% apr so not only would I be paying back $6000 but it was always highlighted that I selected a 6 month window to pay it back, scams are everywhere people always double check so I stopped filling out the information and 10 second later they call me and I had to do a over the phone cancellation as well even though I hadn’t accepted the offer so it’s just a giant hassle altogether, please stay as far from this place as possible

  Had I been able to leave ZERO stars I would have. After nearly entering into a CONTRACT with Big Picture Loans over a year ago they still contact me religiously every month. Thank God I REFUSED after DISCOVERING they were going TO CHARGE $300 for EVERY $100 I borrowed. Borrow $1000 PAY BACK $3000?! That’s the game. They wait until the very last second to disclose this information and leave it up to YOU to request that the contract be TERMINATED. I have contacted my state senator and reached out to AOC and others looking for social justice. I urge EVERYONE who has been duped, scammed, and taken advantage of, whether they knew it or not, by BIG PICTURE LOANS to do the same. One note. In a time where reparations for Native Americans no longer seems far fetched, the Tribe behind these aggressive and egregious lending practices does other bands of Native Americans ,who operate with ethical integrity, a disservice by committing these flagrantly unethical acts while taking advantage of a demographic not suited for the burden their loans bring. Message your Senator or Rep today about this issue - The Lending Practices of Lac Vieux Desert Band of LAKE SUPERIOR CHIPPEWA INDIANS in Michigan. When in doubt read the positive reviews of BIG PICTURE LOANS and then read some of the ones those individuals have written for other businesses.

  I will never get a loan from them again! The first time it was fine the 2nd time a big hassle. I would call and was told diffrent things from diffrent reps never really a resolution. To top it off I was told I missed my last payment when this company took the money out. I will NEVER do business with them again!
