Eco-School Network5Aren’t we the luckiest?! Our wonderful bank, Beneficial State Bank, not only provides excellent customer service, but they are also supporting our Parties with a Purpose series! They are, after all, the “bank with a purpose.” As a B Corp since 2013, they are taking steps to make a more equitable, sustainable world with their hearts, minds, wallets, voices, and votes. At Beneficial State Bank, they see a future where all banks embrace a triple bottom line practice — one focused on investing in people, planet, and prosperity. Banking at Beneficial State Bank is one way that we as a network, walk the walk. Thank you, Beneficial State Bank, for your support!

Amy Higgs5I never realized that having an awesome bank would make me so happy. I bank with Beneficial for my small nonprofit and have had nothing but outstanding service. Craig Hill, our account rep is caring, thoughtful, and always looking out for us. He came to visit our office just to get to know us when we started (with a tiny account balance). They've always made things easy, helping us with a PPP loan, and tracking down a copy of a check I had lost, for example. There's always a friendly, competent human answering the phone. They use language that non-finance people understand and help me feel more confident in our financial management. And most importantly, I feel great knowing that our money is being managed in a socially and environmentally responsible way. It gives us another way we can make a difference. If you've never kept your money at a bank that feels like a community with smart minds and big hearts, give Beneficial a try. You too might end up having a crush on your bank.

Sean Moran1Been a member since the first branch of Albina community bank. My local branch won’t let you inside due to Covid but all other branches will. They also now close at 4pm which is no good for me. Shame. They used to be so good.

Our team would love to learn about your experience and how we can better serve you. Jimbo Jones5Drive up from Salem to get added to a vehicle so I could take over payments. Very friendly and professional service. I figured it would take hours to get paperwork done. Paperwork was done when I got there. We read threw it together. She made sure I understood everything clearly. Then I signed and was on my way. 30 minutes in and out. Very professional! Will definitely be running all my financial transactions with Beneficial State Bank. Oh yah…. The parking lot is small but plenty of parking across the street. Diagonally to the left from there entrance. Huge free public parking.

James Ackervelli5Beneficial State Bank is by far the best bank I have ever banked with because the people there interact with there customers with the overall goal of meeting THEIR needs not the needs of the bank. They were very quick and efficient in helping me resolve a fraudulent withdrawal from my account and they are going to help me build my credit up with a small auto loan. Big kudos to Brandon and Becky.

Kevin Bumatay5As a regional non-profit, Beneficial State Bank has been so immensely supportive during these tough economic times. Their personal level of service, quick responsiveness, and equity and community centered values make working with BSB a no brainer. Many thanks to Craig Hill and the entire BSB team for their ongoing support!! In gratitude!

Lucy Stirling1I deposited $2100 on a friday at 2.30pm, at the mlk branch They lost my money, despite me having my receipt (will provide on request). The women on the phone said I was too upset for her to 'properly deal with.' Good for her, if i didnt have kids I may not care But I gotta buy food for my kids. She said, "dont have kids, cause we wont support them". Thanks, I've been banking with y'all for years and y'all lost my $2100. Have receipts, happily show them off
