So nice to walk into a bank with tellers and bankers to help and answer questions. Seems like customer service is a thing of the past in many places but so happy Bellco has not forgotten that relationships matter. We switched from our 20 year bank because all of their customer service was a phone based.

Opened my account with Nick, the branch manager. A few problems at first, which were taken care of immediately. To say Nick went above and beyond helping me is an understatement. He made sure every issue I had was solved quickly. I definitely recommend this bank and branch for your banking services.

Hi there I was interested in moving several accounts to a credit union , And Tried numerous times to get through to your call center. I gave up because who has the time to wait on endless hold? My current bank has similar issues so I do not see any point switching to Bellco. Very dissatisfied with your current customer service model. I will continue my search for a user friendly bank or credit union Cheers Carolyn

Only bank I've dealt with that charges non-customers to cash checks issued by them. Their own tellers don't even bank here. Awful service and a bad way to entice people to open an account. I'd never do business here if I didn't have to.

      Response from the owner

I have been banking with Bellco for 4 years since moving to Colorado but am now deciding to close my account. I came across the rudest manager today in the corporate contact center. I originally called in to dispute a transaction and discuss possibly having fees reversed. I informed the lady that I was aware that the fees were not due to CU error however I explained that Geico would not work with me even though it was there fault for the early debit. I kindly asked her to review my account to see if she could help. She places me on hold to speak to someone then came back and said she could help with 1 fee. I was grateful and thanked her. After a few hours, I didn’t see the fee reversed so I called back to see if someone could look into it. I was immediately transferred to a supervisor for some reason. The rudest gentleman came on the line. He told me “The last rep gave you the wrong information. We can’t help you. I will speak to her about this.” I asked him why he could not honor her word and refund the 1 fee for me. He started to raise his voice and repeatedly kept saying “We’ve already reversed 4 fees. We cannot help you.” I explained to him that the previous reversals were due to my account being fraudulently taking over which bellco caught and called me about. He repeatedly kept talking over me loudly. He refused to help. Had no empathy. He spoke to me like I was irresponsible and a bother to him. I told him I would close my account because I didn’t believe it was ethically right to guarantee a reversal then to not live up to that. He said he could mail me a check or I could go inside to close it. He didn’t care to keep my business. He said that I could call the branch and ask for a manager. Which I did and the manager who I spoke to has not even called me back. Which I am not surprised. I was on the verge of tears as my father n law just died and have had so many financial hardships occurring. I refuse to bank with people who treat other humans this way.

I have never experienced a more disorganized financial institution and am glad I have not given them any of my money. Applied online for an account and they lost my application despite sending me a secure message regarding additional paperwork needed (which was attached in the application process.) When I appeared in person to supply the documents I was told they would not accept my expired license despite also presenting a letter from the state saying that I was granted an extension due to them not taking renewal appointments due to COVID. Even the airlines have accepted and are continuing to accept expired licenses due to the current pandemic. Take your money elsewhere or they will likely "lose" that too.

Bellco is the worst CU, or bank, I've ever dealt with. It is like doing business with a company from the late 80's. Not only do they require you to go into a branch to start with, they do not do online bill pay or ACH withdraws. The phone tree is horrible and it is difficult to get any person on the phone. After I got sick of their terrible service I moved my loan to another company. Paid the account in full in January. I find out that they've reported my account 30 days late, despite the account being closed months ago. So now I have the fun of having to contact all credit reporting agencies, disputing this, and trying to get Bellco to fix their mistake has been a nightmare. You can only send them email, which isn't listed on their website so you need to fiddle with the phone tree to get someone to give you the email address, they won't talk to you about the dispute on the phone, either. This is ridiculous. Stay far away from these clowns.

Debra (who said she was the Branch Manager) is extremely rude and unprofessional. We called and were told one thing over the phone, then told something completely different when we came in. Debra called us liars, saying we never called. After showing her the call record, she figured out who we talked to and began screaming at the poor young woman right in front of us for giving us incorrect information. Debra clearly has no management or customer service skill whatsoever. We closed all of our accounts and went to Wells Fargo and are much happier. It’s a shame because everyone else at this location was always very nice.

      Response from the owner
