  After being with several financial institutions over the years, I was happily surprised when we joined Belco Credit union. I have not met any employee who is rude or unhelpful. They truly care about all of their members. Very refreshing!

  I have to say, Belco is an excellent Bank. I have been with them for over 4 yrs. I really like the service I have received from them. Now, keep in mine, its the employee's that give the company the good name, due to their good conduct in dealing with people. Keep up the good work!😃 Thanks.

  Been with them for over 5 years. Used to be a great neighborhood bank. Used to is the key word. Mobile deposit only works about 10% of the time. Since Covid had them close their lobbies, expect 30 minute plus waits for drive thru. But last week was the final straw. Charged me a $35 overdraft fee on a 14 cent overdraft, and there was money in savings. When I opened the account I declined overdraft protection, now they claim it's mandatory. Already switched to another bank: UPDATE: they finally saw the light and reversed the overdrafts - I added 3 stars

  Have had a car loan almost 4 years here. Because of problems with the mail my payment wasn't received on time. Explain this to them basically they said too bad send another. So I had to call my bank and put a stop payment on this check for Belco to turn around and say they received it and nevermind. Great. Awesome. SPENT ANOTHER 25 minutes to cancel the stop payment. They confirmed the stop payment was removed. A week later they're calling me saying that they probably reported me to the credit beurue because that payment was returned to me anyway. Very unprofessional and I'm glad there's only a payment or so left on this loan so I won't have to bother with this place again.*** update they sure did report me to the credit burue even though I sent my payment in on time AND they were the ones who told me to cancel the check. Thanks for nothing. Glad you guys are so professional in the middle of a pandemic.

  Slowest service ever on the drive through! Aweful! Waited longer than 30 mins in a small line! Dont use it! Your bank should have more than one person working both drive through stations....there was literally one chick working both drive through poles for a line of cars...it was horribly slow and terrible customer service!

  I would give them ZERO stars if that was an option. The customer service is HORRIBLE!!! Doing business with Belco is a waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor, and bank with ANY other credit union. Belco is THE worse!!!

  their customer service is the worst when call the call center. no one knows what their talking about spent over and God forbid if you get one of their agents that handle their overflow calls/outsourced calls - they have no knowledge of anything and have to send an email to request me to receive a form to dispute a transaction. i've been waiting for over 24 hours for his form to stop pay and dispute for a fraudulent charge. I have a business and personal account which I am about to take my business elsewhere BELCO SUCKS!

  Update 4/2017 Contacted BBB and it got corrected. I have my insurances automatically withdrawn on the 27th of each month. I put the money in on the 25th. Mind you I checked my balance before I did this and I had $8 and some change in my checking according to their ATM machine. I put the money in my account at Drive thru and see I'm in the negative $20 something dollars. I go in to address the situation and they say my insurance company took out the money on 24th. I call insurance company and they say all they do is send the request for the money to be put aside for the 27th (they do this 3 days prior to collecting money). The banks decides to pay it in hopes you don't have it to be able to hit you with that $30 or more fee so they can give out those nice bonuses I guess. I had my insurance company on 3way with Belco and it lead me nowhere. They told me they would put in a request for a refund all to call me the next day to say they did this for my a year ago when it was a totally different situation in one of they're overdraft protection loopholes so I guess I have to look forward to an annual February jerk move. In summary, I knew my insurance comes for money on the 27, I had money in there on the 25th. Bank pays it on 24th and charges me a $30 fee for something they can see in letter form saying they will collect money on 27th. I see if they can waive that because I'm not at fault and I put the money in the next day and have overdraft protectionThey basically say buzz off. Crooks...
