  It took two weeks to get the loan officer to respond and by that time the boat I wanted was sold. Keep looking, these people don’t care to help you. Loan officer : Steven Clynes. They were difficult to communicate with and the receptionist was rude. SFCU was a much better experience.

  Worst credit union in Texas. Ran primarily by judgmental staff with a sour attitude toward their younger guests and that is consistent across all locations. Collections absolutely will not work with you any time you need help. You could have 100% perfect payment history for 3+ years and they will not let you skip ONE payment. Greedy. I was not working for several months during the pandemic shutdown and they would not let me skip my auto loan payment, not even a single months payment. Not soon after, I lost my car to a car accident only a few months before completing my 5 year loan that I had 100% perfect payment history and they reported my last month as "unpaid" to the credit bureaus. I also paid for their GAP insurance and was denied claiming it being left to pay the remaining balance of my loan after the insurance payout. A scam. This being my first loan and only line of credit they have left me ruined not to mention livid. I will be disputing this with Experian and Equifax and will close my checking account immediately. Having a loan here was the worst mistake of my life. Do yourself a favor and work with a credit union who will actually look out for you.

  We have been banking at Beacon for 10+ years and love it. I just refinanced my car with them. The process was simple and painless. Valerie took great care of me.

  Great credit union! Even while the phones were down I quickly got in contact with an employee and she helped solve my issue Thank you Elizabeth for helping me! I highly recommend this credit union they are friendly affordable and professional Thanks beacon!!

  I called to make a payment today and spoke to Britney (sp?). The branch was having phone issues and we were disconnected in the middle of our conversation. She immediately emailed me to complete my payment process. Not long after she called me back to tell me my payment was processed. She worked diligently to make sure I was taken care of.

  I am Truly Happy, I have found this credit Union. They truly care so much for the community. Not just that but, I am glad that I made a switch from my previous Credit Union. They wouldn’t offer or wanted me to refinance my vehicle or even to move forward with new lower rates. I finally decided to switch to Beacon FCU and I’m so happy they were able to give me a way better rate, lower payments. Also, their staff is very kind and easy to work with. I am looking forward to growing my Finances with this credit Union and glad to be a member of this caring business to our community. #TeamBEACONfcu

  I work at a dealership from travel trailer dealership in Arkansas and we found this company to be more than accommodating to our needs. We had help the entire way through the process and Claudia specifically was instrumental in getting what was a difficult deal to go through smoothly. She answered all of our questions and was always there when we needed help. If we have another opportunity to work with this company we certainly will!

  I regularly call in my auto loan payments to Lizzie Ellis and she is the best! She is always polite with an upbeat,positive attitude. A great example of what customer service should be. She also handles my issues very quickly.Give that girl a raise!😀
