  Honestly, I don’t have a ton to say about the bank in general, and the services they provide, because I’ve only had an account with them for a month, but I’ve had a great experience with this bank. The customer service was fantastic, staff is always kind, and they do a TON in the community. They do so much more than Langley. They come into schools and give finance lessons and do interactive activities with students. They are heavily involved in the community and do a lot. Bayport offers grants and scholarships for high school and college students. I’ve had a great experience with this bank so far.

  Extremely POOR "customer service" from your call center. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had the misfortune of dealing with an individual named Casey (he would not provide his last name) nor would he put me in touch with a supervisor. I have been having an issue with accessing my funds which I deposit through my mobile deposit app... I live out of state and do not have access to a local branch. Why there is a hold on a partial amount of my funds was not sufficiently explained to me and I was given an attitude by your "customer service" rep. Especially during this time of year when people are attempting to get gifts etc for the holiday... they want access to their money and do not want to be given some generic, vague and frankly inaccurate explanation as to why only a partial amount of their money is being held. I will be closing my account that I have had for 5 plus years and you can thank Casey "with a C not a K" for that! Good riddance Bayport... you are a local branch and it shows. Worst bank ever!

To answer your question a hold could be placed on your mobile deposit for a number of reasons (i.e. the amount of the check, the number of checks you are attempting to deposit, the type of check, and more.)   You authorized a $60,000 loan to someone pretending to be me. You didn't even make an effort to check. When I (the real one) called you asked if I had a twin? Were you being serious? I've never been in the state of VA. Thank you for causing the headache of identity theft due to your lack of due diligence. 0/10 would not recommend. avoid this place unless you are a theft.

  Please avoid this credit union at ALL cost. I'm warning you now. I previously had a car loan through them, so I applied for a different loan once my old loan was paid in full. I received the approval from them, so we proceeded the loan process. The loan agent that I was assigned to (NICOLE WATERS) made the process extremely difficult and even hung up on me during the middle of a call. I had to call numerous of times throughout the week just to get in contact with her. She claimed that I was "rushing" the process after submitting all required documents. She was never available to speak with, and the times that she was available, she provided no real clarity or direction as to the next steps in the process. I have NEVER experienced customer service as bad as this. All I wanted was to get things moving as I was in need of transportation. The loan agent came across very inexperienced and not knowledgeable of her job. The same week, I went to my other credit union, got approval, and here I am a week later driving the car I wanted. PLEASE avoid Bayport at all cost, they will give you nothing but poor customer service, poor communication, and a hard time for no reason. After 7 years as a member, I have decided to never do business with Bayport again. So thank you Nicole for ruing the reputation and pride I had for Bayport Credit Union.

  I Iove Bayport! I have had nothing but positive expierences from the tellers, call center, loan servicers, and financial advisors. As someone who had my identity stolen for almost 20 years Bayport helped me get my financial goals in place and my credit back to good standing! The bank I had previously basically kept telling me there was nothing they could do to help me.

  Bay port is not bad Credit Union. The experience I have with them is very good. But I have a Flex account with Bayport that was pad off accept 0.1 penny which they sent me a first notice for pass due payment with a mailing envelope. This I see could have been avoided by going into one of the three accounts that I have with them and deduct the 0.1 cent shouldn’t been no problem. Please do not miss any payments Bayport. They will get you for a penny. Andre,

  Bayport steal from it's customers. If your funds are low they'll still process the payment which will overdraft you instead of not processing the payment at all. You'll get account related issues a whole day later, sometimes 2 days later. Navy Federal alerts you ASAP of any account issues. BAYPORT take notes and stop stealing from your customers.

  Honestly, Bayport is the greatest in Virginia. I have quite a few accounts with different banks/credit unions and Bayport always extends a helping hand for anything that arises.

  BayPort doesn’t care about it’s members during a pandemic. You only have 60 days to dispute a charge when companies say “Covid delayed us, shipping services are delayed etc.” When it does take USPS a month to deliver a package this is not false though. Thanks BayPort for allowing them to steal my $$!

  BAYPORT IS THE WORST BANK OUT THERE. The amount of overdraft fees they charge - even when you have $ in your savings but are out of transfers - is INSANE. Switch to Navy Federal, or Langley... any other bank really.
