Ella1This bank is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with. First, my card was blocked because of a unauthorized purchase and then I had to call their 1-800 number and speak to 10 different people. No one of could resolve the issue and they all had told me that my card is fine and it should be working. Some told me that they didn't see anything wrong with my account..which was odd. My card had been blocked for 3 days and each time I got a run around regarding my own debit card. When you try to talk to them they try to get you off the phone as fast as possible and then when you try to use your card it gets declined. Bayport customer service and their team of people who work in the 1-800 number are absolutely horrible. Horrible at unblocking your own card and being able to use your own money. Just downright it amazing how each of them had lied and told me my card was fine. Thanks a lot Bayport

Holly Legrand1BayPort doesn’t care about it members during a pandemic. You only have 60 days to dispute a charge. Companies say Covid delayed us, shipping services are delayed. True story it does take USPS to deliver a package. Thanks BayPort for allowing them to steal my money!! I am looking elsewhere for my banking needs.

Tiara Walton1I went in today to open up a checking account, my experience was wonderful. Janet J. was very helpful friendly and informative, she answered all of my questions and concerns.I love how she went way beyond with assisting me, I can tell she really enjoys helping others, thanks again! Update: I originally open a checking account and everything was ok until I went in and they inform me that I owed a negative balance, now my account with bayport is my second bank account so I rarely use it but to not get anything in the mail is questionable and not to mention bay port never stop mailing me about anything else especially life insurance lol but I still tried to reopen my account with Jamie, I got at there 945am didn’t leave till 1035am just to be told I could only start a savings account and let’s not mention how I was patient enough for Jamie (the accountant who “tried” to open my account back up) to let not one but two customers go in front of me…go figure but it’s ok I still have chime!

Brittany Taylor1They have archaic systems. They do not email statements or allow for easy access to pay your bill online when you have a loan with them. I did not submit 8 cents on one bill and they sent me to collections. If you want an expedient process where efforts are made to communicate with the technology and means offered in this decade then do not use them. Find another company that isn’t greedy for 8 cents.

Dee Houston5Staff is always friendly. My favorite is Mrs. Gail Hatch. I have followed her from our years at Fort Monroe to Members Trust and now BayPort. She is a very trusthworthy employee and takes much pride in knowing her job is done well. Great asset to BP and your customers. Have a great day & keep up the great job!!

John Harris1Been with them for 20 year's they see my money before I see it. They dollar you to death with fees . And you have to give blood to get anything from them . When it was newport news shipyard credit union they were good people.
