  I have been a customer since 2015 when this shop first opened and they had been pretty reliable up until recent. I have made both purchases and loans from this shop and scored some pretty nice stuff. My gold Michael Kors watch is one of my favorite things I’ve purchased from here. I had several things on loan with them and I tried to stay up to date on all my loans. I’ve even refinanced my loans but they always kept me up to date on my items. I’ve never lost anything until now. I had been Following up on several items making sure I didn’t lose them. I called today to discuss getting my last 2 items out and they tell me not only was it pulled 2 days ago but that someone had already put it on layaway and there was nothing I could do to get it back. When I asked to speak to the manager Ralph, who I thought I had a good rapport with, he was very nonchalant and apathetic to my distress. I work in customer service and I know that the key to successful business is having good relationships with people and your customers. He showed me that there is no value for people at this place. They just care about the money they make off of your stuff. They have lost a good customer for life.

  9/13/21 Went into store to look around, saw an item I may need, and was told , in order to purchase or test it out to see if it worked, I had to purchase a warranty,,,,, bad biz to lie to a former pawn broker, called corporate, basically non helpful, stay away, bad biz. Lying to get a sell is always bad biz,,, must be commissioned based.

  Bayou needs to train all emplees and managers in how to protect the items that people pawn. I had my yeti cooler under there care and they did was put it on a shevle and store other things on top and my cooler came back to me dirty and scratched up. And the only thing they could do is give a 32 dollar cerdit. They did not even apologize to me. It is bad enough they low ball people with the value of your property. I work real hard to purchase the things that i want and sometimes we need the pawnshops for back up and this is how they treat us , with disrespect. Also give they a history in pawnshops , they where created in the 1800s.

  Very nice Pawn Shop to look for Musical Equipment, Laptops and a second TV for the guest room. The staff is very helpful. Laptops that do not hold a charge very well are tagged so you know exactly what you are getting no surprises.

  Horrible customer service. None of the employees wanted to help... had me wait for hours... and lied about a shoe box being in the back, and all i wanted to do was buy a pair of shoes...

  Fraud. They price your items through eBay instead of brand and value. I guess if you’re trying to sell stolen goods and want to sell quick this is your go-to place. Better chance at getting what your stuff is worth by private selling than to waste your time here.

  I would say horrible because not only did they wouldn't give me a good deal on my bike better then $40 it was a Jamis aragon ya it was used but really put it on the floor for almost $400. WOW, so instead of buying my bike back I purchase this nice Genesis 700 don't get me wrong a good price 90 bucks but at least help me put air in the tires but no instead tell me that you don't have a pump to fill up my tires with and while one of the employees were so-called trying to help me with my problem another employee tells him too tell me to move out of the way

  This pawn shop are thief's! They do not give you what your items are worth. They tried to give me 180 for 2 ps4s and 3 remotes 1 was brand new.

  Bayou pawn not only go's by eBay's prices that won't come down on prices if your buying. They also won't help u check out the what your buying. Don't even think about getting help looking at it .

  11/6/16 I went into this location around 5:30pm at that time there was a Hispanic man There pawning a pair of used bootleg Jordan's with highlighter green colors. They gave him $40 for his loan and they offered me $15 for my Samsung galaxy note III great condition. Oh did I mention I'm black and the staff is all Mexican. Of course I said somethings to them about this low level racism and they told me to get out. Dont be racist with me because you make 8$ an hr..yall watching too much pawnstsrs.
