  I think this is the best bank that I've had!! The employees, especially Alex(c) are terrific. They really do help you with whatever they can. I have had some medical issues and they were very considerate. They are patient, kind and best of all, know what they are doing! It IS a credit union, so that also makes it good, too. I love this place!

  Waiting for the right electric car, so I refinanced my leased car & had a positive experience with Reuben & Adrian who happened to both be at Capitola branch. (Find Reuben @ Freedom branch most of time). They saved me quite alot $$ plus a few membership incentives $$ more than dealership financing & they did it in about 90 mins! Also great idea to check out before used car purchase from a dealership to get Bay Federal "Pre Qualified Letter" (Ask Reuben or Adrian). Nice to have registration, etc, all handled in one sit down.

  Tried to call simply to get some information. First am told to press 1 if I want to speak in English, that was strike one... this country is an English speaking country no reason to press a special button to get English. Second strike was after told to "press 1 to speak to friendly rep" resulted in another recording which finally said to speak to rep press #2... why tell me to press #1 in the first place if that isn't going to take me to a rep? Once I did press #2 there were 4 calls ahead of me, not playing phone bank hell. Was thinking of transferring my accounts here but this was a negative experience so may not do that after all.

  I have never been able to make an online deposit. It never works, they need to update their online services. Other than that, they are fine.

  UPDATE: Ryan Cash and Bay Fed CSR team came through, thank you for treating me as I am used to :) I am not one to leave negative reviews but Edith Galindo was so unprofessional and it seems her "leadership" is rubbing off on the rest of the team. They do not seem to care about their customers anymore, as a loyal customer who referred multiple people over to them i was DISGUSTED with the way Edith handled my issue, she was very rude and even admitted their system is "wonky" but didnt feel the need to help me out. Not only has this branch lost a client but i will be telling everyone i know who uses bayfed to go to ANY other branch besides this one, all of this frustration and annoyance over $28, maybe Bayfed can take it out of her check?

  Just had a great interaction with “Maribel Maldonado “ she helped me open up a savings with ease. She was kind and it was quick and easy! Such a refreshment from my old bank . Thanks Maribel.

  I love this bank, especially the spoon the Capitola Branch. The people are so great. I love to support local business and not the ruthless corporate world.

  Highly incomprehensible employees. Also False advertising. Their mobile app is not state of the art. Can't even make full payment to my credit card for $50 by using mobile app. I had to call then wait on hold for 10min and A $10 fee and only 9am- 5pm Monday-friday. SO STRESSFUL.

  Ryan did a great job and took care of my issue with ease and concern! Glad I switched from Union Bank.
