      If you enjoy having your money taken from you without warning or explanation on a constant basis then this your bank. Bank of the West is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with and it baffles me how they haven't been sued into the ground. If you want a good bank then open an account at CHASE BANK. They are much better than this horrible excuse for a bank.

      No notice that the checking accounts we have were going to be changed to minimum deposit. Fees hitting the accounts and can't get anyone to call me back. Turnover of staff and management over the years has been quite consistent. Management not in, no calls back....not good small banking experience. Also have commercial loans there and that department is not good to deal with - frequently do not know what they are doing and misapply payments.

      Poor customer service, when my wife made our first check deposit, she was informed the funds would be held for 9 days because it was a new account. Now they are holding our second check deposit for 9 days. The Bank Manager contacted me and explained the policy is to hold all check deposits 9 days for the first 30 days, which we were not informed of when we opened the account, he did release the funds for the second check then apologized for the misunderstanding.

      It’s annoying that they aren’t open on Saturday’s anymore. None of their branches are open on Saturday. Employees are friendly and helpful.
