  Just had to recommend this wonderful business to anyone in need of great service. It has been a pleasure from start to finish to work with this outfit. It was swift in obtaining a loan. Brad Harris has been so professional and efficient in getting the job done for us. Stephanie has been over the top helpful in anything and everything we can think of asking her to assist with our relocation to Roanoke. She has been a real joy and pleasure to get to know. She has made our whole moving experience easier than we would have expected it could be. So if you want professional, kind, and welcoming service please give them a call.   We love Bank of the James! After our experiences with large banks that do not care about us, the personal attention we receive at BoJ is so refreshing. When my friends tell me how their large banks mistreat them with like a commodity they don't mind losing, I love to tell them how Bank of the James has never treated us that way. They know our names and treat us as if they value our business. My trips to the bank are always enjoyable.
