  Before COVID it was fine but since they closed the other branches it is ALWAYS a nightmare long line Either hire more employees or open another branch back up

  I've asked to make changes so many times, including my address. They never did any of the changes even when the tellers told me they did. I hate being lied to.

  The bank is fine, but the phone number goes to a call center in Honolulu and no one can manage to get me the local bank's number. Why is it a secret?? This is INSANE! I wanted to talk to MY loan officer, Lisa, at the Waiakea branch in Hilo and they for some reason only would connect me with a Honolulu loan officer!! *edit* The local staff is very nice and competent. After dealing with the VERY frustrating phone system, I got smart and asked a couple of the bank folks (the consierge downtown is very nice and so akamai!) and loan officers for their numbers - they were happy to give me their cards. i put them into my phone and computer so now I will never have to deal with their horrible phone system again. If someone from BoH ever reads these reviews, please change your idiotic system and rules.

  Friendly service. Convenient Hours. 24 your atm that HFS FCU members may also use without atm fee. Been a member since mid. 90's. Dormant accounts, filed under "paper." Ways of the old, before "smart technology."

  50+ people in line, 3 tellers. Seriously?!
