Jayste Sotelo1HORRIBLE SERVICE BANK OF HAWAII KAPOLEI!! I wish I could give them ZERO STARS! My husband tried to cash a check that was printed from there bank not a personal written check but a ACTUAL check that had to be printed out from them with my husband name on it & the teller (young papolo lady) tells my husband that she had to verify it WHEN IT WAS PRINTED THERE! Making as if my husband was criminal & trying con them!! Took her over 30min just to okay there own check! How can you fake a check that only your bank can print? & my husband verified it for you!! She kept going back and forth with him this is so not acceptable!! Bank of hawaii YOU CAN DO BETTER! Employees needs to be trained on GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE to the local community!!

Anthony Calleja1I am giving a 1 star review to Bank of Hawaii but the deserve a big zero. I have been with Bank of Hawaii for many many years and do my personal and business banking there. They offer a substandard services. I prefer to have paper statements and for no reason they decided to provide online statements instead. I receive a few alerts from some of the Companies I do auto pay with that my debit card was going to expire. Well it expired 8 days ago and I still have not received it. This meant that I had to contact companies I have auto pay setup with and change to a different pay method. Their phone system has to be one of the worst in the Banking industry. 30+ minute wait times. It's impossible to get through. No option for a call back, same recording over and over, no option to turn music off. I don't think Bank of Hawaii Executives care about their employees. If each customer must wait 30+ minute of course the flack goes to the other person on the line. I have requested for a Customer Service VP contact me. I will likely take my banking elsewhere before this is all over.

Romel Moore1I'm a African American and a Pastor. I've been with this bank about three years and on January 18th, I visited BOH in Kapolei maskless. Management had the nerve to ask me to go outside in order to transact business. I informed the general manager that I'm not a second class citizen and we're not back in the 60's during segregation and I refuse to be discriminated against. Kelli pointed to the large folded sign near the front door entrance and stated wearing masks was their policy. I asked her to show me the policy in writing and she could not. I informed Kelli that mandates are not laws and that laws are voted on and passed by the Legislature. I reminded her why Joe Biden's mask mandate was just overturned by the Supreme Court. They refused to allow me to exercise my constitutional right to Not wear a mask and discriminated against my common law as an American citizen. I served the GM, Kelli. I returned the next day to the same discrination. Its a shame how businesses are willing to lose the very customers who keeps their doors open and ability to even have a business. No one should be treated like a dog in the street after all we've been through. I've experienced discrination before but this takes the cake! No one should support this company!

Liz S1Horrible bank. Took me 40 minutes to get to a teller when there was only two people in front of me. There was only two tellers open and this is not the first time. Wow you can see workers all over the place at least 15 of them but nobody is helping customers by the time I left the door had a line to the street. Who ever managed this location they need to be fired Clearly that manager is not doing their job of making sure tellers are open so your customers can get help quickly.

Alla Kuksenko1They refused to tell me if the check i was depositing to our business account available for funds or how long will it take to be cleared. Because I was only an agent but not authorized person (even though I was authorized multiple times) I went to another bank in waipahu and then to waialae, both branches confirmed that I am authorized person and can check balance and staff. I have business card and though this is my family's business I always make deposits, write checks and do all paperwork. Maybe it's time to change a bank for our business

Angeline Mcshane1I'm a 72yrs.old Kupuna the waianae bank of Hi is closed due to the corona virus. That is where I bank to pay my rent each month. Now I have to travel to U'r Kapolei branch on the HandiVan to do my banking. I'm also disabled using a rollator. I was told by U'r concierge that if U'r just depositing n not receiving cash back there's a deposit box U can just drop it in n leave. " Not so " theirs a security guard who makes U stand in that long line waiting just to deposit. Did U change U'r protocol ? Bcuz it's an inconvenience for me as I'm just depositing to pay my rent. Any suggestions ! Angie McShane

Galaxy. WeiRdO.4Your online hours say you're open on Sunday, so we drove down here, but it's closed. Please change your online information to reflect correct hours. I was excited you had opened on Sundays, but obviously it is incorrect. :-( Otherwise...good branch..lines are usually long though so give yourself time.
