  BOE Mortgage was easy to work with and provided all information needed to smoothly complete the process of buying a home and getting approved for a mortgage. Aubra was very friendly and helpful throughout the process and was able to quickly re-estimate monthly payments for us several times as we tried to decide how much to put down/which house to purchase etc. As first-time home buyers, we were happy to have all of the additional assistance from BOE :)

  I am currently working with Jonathan Mosca at BOE. I was searching around comparing companies looking to get the best rates to do a refi on my home. I was referred to BOE by a friend. The interest rate they offered was higher than all the other companies I’d inquired with, so I declined. 5 minutes later Jonathan Mosca called back stating they would be able to match the interest rate of 2.75. Unbeknownst to me that could occur I was intrigued and decided to move forward with BOE. The process began roughly the end of February and the rate stayed the same for weeks. I would sporadically here from Jonathan and some days he wouldn’t return my phone calls or texts when confirming documents needed were received/accepted. Now that it’s time to finalize things, my rate has shot up and he failed to even mention it as if it wasn’t a big deal. He stated that the terms changed and rate went up because of the time frame it took to get documents in and the market has changed! I recommend going somewhere else where they’re honest and upfront about your terms and conditions and respond in a timely manner. No one likes to be sprung upon with surprises last minute! Especially when I could’ve stayed with the other company I was initially working with. ***Update*** Not sure if they read the reviews right away or not, but the loan officer actually called me and gave me an update on the process. Brief 5 min call but it meant a lot. I just don’t want to feel like another number. Now if they would just give me the interest rate on the initial paperwork they reeled me in with, I will have no issues with BOE.
