BOA is the worst bank relating to the customer services in the US. You would find long lines of customers waiting for a teller to get help. Teller would tell you off for not adding address and date on deposit slip. A long delay to get an appointment with a banker. Last Saturday, I was in a line of 30 people standing at outside Hyattsville branch. No one opened the door for customer and the door did not even have a sign that branch would remain closed. Such a disgrace from a bank, never seen before in my life. I am not sure why small business or regular individual should keep an account in this bank. I have switched.

The associate we worked with was very nice and helpful, so that's great. He did suggest I get a credit card (something other reviews have complained about), but wasn't overly pushy when I showed limited interest (although did put something related to it in my online shopping cart). However, one frustrating issue is that there is no sign in sheet for customers who want to see an associate. That is an unforced error, leads to confusion as soon as there are a significant number of people in the poorly configured lobby area, and would be trivial to fix. Overall, I would return to the branch, but hope they get the very front end of customer service worked out.

This place is ok for teller services but the associate that I had an appointment was absolutely terrible. I went in for something else but they kept on pressuring me on opening a credit card despite the fact that I rejected them MULTIPLE TIMES. And when I told them that my reason is that opening a new credit card will impact my credit negatively, they refuted my statement and had that condescending, sh*teating grin on their face, again and again, pressuring me to sign up for their credit card while telling me that what I told him is wrong (which it isn’t, opening a credit card is a hard credit inquiry that damages your credit score). Never again, and I think I am closing all my accounts with this bank and switching to something else.

This is probably the worst bank I've ever been to. The service is always slow and they recently remodeled to have even less teller windows than before, making it EVEN SLOWER. The tellers spend more time trying to push extra accounts on everyone instead of just helping people get their banking done in a timely matter. I only use this bank for a business account, but every single time I'm there I have to deal with the tellers and other employees trying to convince me to switch my personal to BoA, despite my repeatedly attempts to just get my banking done for work quickly. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone.

Ms. Joan David goes out of her way to help the customer. She is been the relationship manager for us for quite sometime and everytime she is just better than before. I have worked with all staff, they are all good including the branch manager Ms. Pat. This is going to be my primary bank.

I’m banking with this branch since 2000. I’ve business and personal accounts with this bank. The staff carries professional demeanor and are very helpful. I’ve read the previous reviews regarding renovation or wait times. Yes, the renovation did make the center look more congested with less teller booths and more cabins. I believe the center needs more room in general. Since it’s a very busy center, a bigger center would be ideal. I’ve never waited too long. Punam is my banking associate who’s been my guide. She’s helped me with different credit card promotions and offers that I was never aware of. Thanks Punam for everything.

I honestly thought since the renovation this location would be improved but I was completely wrong about that, I walked in and it was just one customer in front of me, no greetings or where the line begins, no problem .it took over 20 minutes for the teller to call me and the manager kept walking by like no one is there, once I ask for what I need she asks me again, oh you need this. I was like yes I would like to cash my check, she mixes the money randomly without even bother to ask "sir, how would you like your money ", I've been banking with boa for like 15 years and they always ask the customer. She almost gave me $100 less while counting , thanks to the machine , she was so lazy that she didn't even bother to give me a envelope for all that money, after the so long waited transaction she asks me sir do you have extra time to sit down with our bank manager, like wth you waste so much of my time already and now you want me to spend more. Overall experience was horrible, I wonder what's happening to bank of America. I think it's time to take my business and personal accounts elsewhere.

Young Lee was most helpful and courteous in assisting my mother, even though we walked in without an appointment. Thank you again!

Could really have done without the rude remarks and bad attitude of one of their bank tellers. Thankfully, the Manager stepped in to take care of my transaction, but if you're not serving customers, how's about putting a sign that clearly states teller is busy / closed? Clearly, customer service is a little hard for this location.

Absolute worse customer service experience. This location has four ATM's an three of the four were not functioning. I went inside the branch to make my deposit as the only working ATM had in excess of a dozen cars. The teller informed me that the account I wanted to make a deposit to was EBanking and he would not be able to comply. I informed him that the ATM's were out of order, which he verified with the repair technician. He then informed me that he would need an override to allow the deposit. At this time a manager appeared and informed me of the same to which I replied that the ATM's were not working and that I have six accounts with them. She said "we will do this once as a favor but in the future if the ATM's are out of order they will not do this". How is that customer service? Their machines were out of order and I was the one inconvenienced and this is the service I received after being a customer for more then 30 years.
