Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

Andrew Colby1Lady wouldn’t cash my check after I told her I didn’t want to open up a checking account. Update- I went to a different Bank of America today, and they cashed my check with no issue. The lady at this specific flower mound location was clearly annoyed with me when I didn’t want to open up an account and unjustifiably wouldn’t cash my check.

A.A. McDaniel Hamilton4I came by here to cash a few checks. When I walked inside the building so there was someone at the door who greeted me and asked how he can help. I said I needed to cash a check and also to get a document notarized. The guy standing at the door sound the notary and she helped me get my documents completed. When I was done I walked right over to the teller to cash two checks who promptly asked how I would want my cash and was complete within a few minutes at that point also.

Louis Wei1Terrible experience with the financial team over at this location. I scheduled for an in person consultation via the Bank of America app 4 days in advance and was confirmed via email. One day before the appointment I received another confirmation text. Then less than 2 hours before the appointment time I received a call from the advisor there who told me the financial center isn't going to be open so can they schedule me for tomorrow. Since I already made plans for the rest of the week I couldn't accommodate that so I asked to change the appointment from in person to a phone call. The advisor agreed but ended up being 15 mins late from the scheduled appointment time. It was completely unacceptable and a total disregard for their customer's time.

Robert shilen5Syed took great care of me. Had a difficult situation that I needed to get resolved (no fault of the bank), and Syed made it happen! He was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Always followed through and got the job done for me. BOA has a great employee in Syed Hasan.
Response from the ownerHi, Robert. Thank you for the positive review about your recent experience with Bank of America. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know. ^Joseph

Benjamin Pham1I recently opened 2 accounts with BOA, but last night I could not deposit my checks and could not update my info in my account thru the app. This morning I called this branch around 10am to make appointment to see a banker. I talked to Ridhi Tilala on the phone. She is relationship banker. She said she could not make the appointment for me thru the phone. I need to use the app to make appointment.. She told me that she did not have any appointment until 2pm. I decided to walk-in. I did not see any one waiting in the lobby. Ridhi was walking out the see me after a short waiting. I asked her to update my info for my account. Again she told me I need to use the app. When I pushed her to help me, she wanted to kick me out of her office. I then told her that I want her name to write about my experience at this branch. She then told me let she have my id to see if she can help. At this time I don't want her to help me anymore. I am not recommend anyone to see relationship banker, Ridhi Tilala at this branch. I left the bank and wonder what she is doing there. BAD BAD BAD....VERY BAD.. CUSTOMER SERVICE

L P1Went there today for small transactions. Was told by someone who i think was a manager no one could help me and I could come back in one hour. Only one person "Noor" hustling to take care of all clients...

Todd Winters1Honestly trying to figure out why BOA even has local branches now. After patiently waiting to speak with someone at this branch, I asked to open a new account and was met with genuine surprise. "Uh, we don't have anyone here who can do that for you right now. Can I schedule you an appointment for later this week?" There were four employees within site. I thanked the employee for the time, left and drove to another nearby branch. This one had two employees with at least 10 customers waiting to be helped (several of which were visibly agitated telling me they'd been waiting a while, too). They closed drive-thru service, cut their hours and are no longer open on Saturdays. BOA, just do everyone a favor and stop pretending to be something you're not. You want to be an online-only bank. That's fine. Just own it so the rest of us can find another bank that offers real service. UPDATE: Save your canned, cut-and-past-if-not-AI-generated response, "tiffiany". You're not sorry, my feedback isn't important and you wouldn't like the opportunity to speak with me. I'm not going to connect with your Social Media Client Cares team, either (who names their customer service THAT??) on Facebook or Twitter. This is the very reason why you're no longer a customer-focused bank. Have a good day and, with respect, please go to Hell.

Aida Deininger1Poor customer service. The manager was cold and uninterested when we inquired about opening a new account and possibly applying for a credit card. She said we could do it online and proceeded doing what she was doing on her computer. There was only one teller available and a long line of customers. The manager did not attempt to help. Will not be going back to this branch any time soon.

Brett Augustine5Obviously this bank had issues in the past. (Based on past reviews) However my experience here has been amazing from the start. Friendly people, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I just moved to the area and Alonzo helped me get all my cards in order with address changes and new cards with better advantages for the way I spend money. (Traveling for example.) Not to mention buying a new home. Holy guacamole, I could not have done it without Alice! Robert (Rob) has a great eye on things there and really seems to care about all the staff and customers. I love this bank!

Steffan Jones1Place is completely unprofessional and unwilling to help it's customers. Cashiers check for rent was lost in mail. After multiple calls to corporate, they even confirmed the branch manager could override the 90-day waiting period to void the cashier's check and reissue another one. Ronald, the branch manager, refuses to do anything. Chase can do it for $30, Wells Fargo can do it for $30, BOA won't do anything for their customers of 10+ years. Definitely closing out our accounts and going to a bank that actually helps their customers.
