I wish I knew the woman I spoke with on the phone. Long story short. I couldn’t cash a check because my husbands name was on it and we didn’t have a joint account. The women I spoke with was SO helpful, she answered all my questions and went out of her way to figure out something that would help me. They are truly amazing over at that branch.

      Response from the owner

Hello Sarah. Thanks for the review! We’re glad to hear about your great experience and hope you’ll consider Bank of America for your future banking needs. ^nicole

Went to Elmwood park branch with a ripped check. Teller was rude and told me I have to get a new check. Came to Clifton branch, they were busy but the teller spoke to the manager and deposited the check.

      Response from the owner

Last night I opened a savings acct. on line. I already have a credit card with BOA. I was 'approved" and "invited" to download the app. Did so. Signed up for Zelle, began a transfer to my new savings acct. Taking a pic of checks to deposit wasn't working so decided to go to the branch in Clinton today. The teller tried but said she could not make the deposit and I needed to see 1 of 2 people and a gentleman walked me over to one of the women. He explained what occurred and she tried to make the deposit. She then went to a woman in an office who wrote a phone # on a post-it. This was then handed to me and I was told they could not make the deposit and the account was "closed." I was told to call the phone #. I asked "What happened? The computer says it's open." The reply was 'I don't know. Call this number." And then she turned on her heels and walked away. Flabbergasted I made the call and waited on hold 45 min. I was told I needed to return to the bank, tell them to call BOA and they would explain that I should show them 2 forms of ID and then the account could be re-opened. She said they should call the phone number on the post-it I was given. Unbelievable. No where- still- does it say my account is closed. No where does it say I need to show more ID. I can understand if this is for my protection, etc. but SAY SO SOMEWHERE! And is this BOA customer service? Turning away a new client with a deposit. Really poor service. And yes, I will make sure the account is closed and go elsewhere. And I tried to give it zero starts but I can't.

This is the worst branch of any bank I have ever been to. They don't have a drive-thru window, just ATMs, one teller on hand at any time and they're also responsible for letting people into the safety deposit boxes which takes several minutes each time. They just rudely and condescendingly push people toward the ATMs at all times and don't even have deposit slips anymore. Given how often the chips on these new cards fail and how often my card does not work, going to the ATM for all banking matters is not practical. This branch does not care about their customers at all.

This branch was very clean and organized. I was greeted as I walked through the door. Roxanne was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. I was there in and out no problems.

      Response from the owner

I have been a customer at this branch of Bank of America for more than 10 years. Over this time I have found the staff to be consistently friendly and helpful. Much of my banking can be done online or at the ATM at this branch. For notary services appointments can be made by phone or, more conveniently, online.

This is my first time writing a review but i had to get out how unbelievably rude and unhelpful Roxanne was, and not just once every time we had the displeasure of speaking to her it ruined our day. HR should be looking into this individual. As far as bank of america goes, do yourself a favor and transfer to TD bank. Way more professional and doesn't make you jump through hoops to get anything done. ps- TD has a drive through

We have had a business account here for forty years with very few problems. Used to be more then enough people to help you and always a go to person to handle problems. Slowly people left, then you had to call a 800 number for help and now after the renovations this bank is mainly for Merrill Lynch investments. Not really a bank of service anymore. What a shame,

Worst Bank I've ever been to. Everytime I go there it takes forever for anyone to even wait on you. I was in there today when 3 people walked out before I decided to and drove over to the Easton location. Which only took them a minute to take care of me. Avoid this place It Sucks

Horrible customer service, they have nobody working, only one teller for entire bank. Others inside their offices see you wondering probably needing some help and ignore you completely. I won’t recommend this branch to anyone 😡
