If you can get through all the hoops they require in order to talk to someone, Vidhya is excellent. However I can't imagine having this be my regular bank branch. What a pain, so frustrating to deal with them. I

Seldom open lately, no DRIVE THRU. under staffed. Have been with them since 1978 and they have gone down hill for the last 10 years. Just look at other customers think as well😡

Might be one of the Worst Banking Experiences I've had....3 people walking around with Tablets, one Teller in training by one of the Worst Tellers I've dealt with. On top of all of this all I wanted to do was cash a Bank of America Check but that cost me $8 and all they wanted to do was tell me how to use their cash machine to do this after waiting in line for over 5 minutes. Terrible Bank Branch, no wonder its only a 2 star branch. Update: since I can't reply to your response: I have a BOA Credit Card thru Alaska Airlines but was still charged $8 to cash my BOA Check?? Guess the fees I pay for this card doesn't help me when cashing one of your checks???

      Response from the owner

Hello. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations & we appreciate you taking the time to send your feedback as we’re always working to improve. Please note that a non-customer check cashing fee may apply and there may be a limit on the amount we can cash for non-customers. ^izzy

I have always valued the Mercer Island Bank of America and have visited once a month for my in person banking needs. Prior to this month I would have given this location 5 stars. However, what kind of bank closed its doors without any notification to its customers, no info on when they will reopen? There is no answer by a human being only info on where to do online banking. One aspect of my personal banking cannot be done online. It’s complicated. I have a few elderly relatives living on Mercer Island who cannot do online banking nor drive off the island to another location. This is absurd and very poor customer service. I am very disappointed. I called the Bank of America connected to my Visa and they have no knowledge of why it closed or when it will open. This is nonsense!

      Response from the owner

Hi Lea. We are doing our best to remain open to serve our clients while implementing changes within our financial centers to follow CDC and government guidelines. As such, some locations may be either temporarily closed or operating at adjusted hours. I have never given a BOA 5 stars because I've never had good service, all other BOA's are awful. This BOA literally blew me away with their service. I was greeted immediately upon entrance, waited in a quick line, less than 2 mins, was spoken to in line, then was helped by a very kind woman! I was there to get a cashiers check and was in and out in less than 10 mins! I'm glad to know there's at least one BOA that has good service! I'd go out of my way to come here.

      Response from the owner

Hi, Annie. Thank you for the positive review about your recent experience with Bank of America. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know. ^Joseph

This bank is the worst branch ever. The manager is an arrogant, power crazy disrespectful person who actually said I was acting the way I was because I was old. The customer service.....there is none. Even the employees talk about the massive amount of turnover. Run from this branch. The tellers are in the back with no outside view, just a wall a few feet in front of them, they openly complain to customers. Even the design is a pow camp for employees. This branch is a joke at all the other Mercer Island banks. They all speak of the stories they get from people leaving B of A...... and coming to them. RUN FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE.

This branch makes me want to close my account. They are so slow and don't really seem to care if they hold people up. A simple withdrawal took almost 30 minutes, with no one in line! They treated me like I was there to rob the place. Try to avoid going into this place if at all possible.

The worst Bank of America ever card gets stuck in one of their ATMs and then instead of looking for it in the machine where it is. They just go oh you want us to order you a new card

      Response from the owner

Set an appointment and checked in. Two others that sat down after me were seen before me. I asked the person I checked in with and she just stood there. The manager told me that my appointment was never made even the front desk showed me my appointment time on her computer screen. When caught in his lie he literally just walked away. No apology was ever given and I never completed my banking. Do not ever go to this branch. They do not value their customers or their positions.

This is the worst branch I have ever been to. There can be 5 people in line and there is only one teller. They never call in another person to speed up the service. Most frustrating is the fact they they never answer the phone. I have been trying for the last 3 days to reach them and it is impossible.
