Melissa Elza1If I could give negative stars I would. I went in with a simple request of getting a copy of a cashier's check, they told me to sit down so they could help other customers and then ignored me for an hour. Never again even acknowledged that I was sitting there, so I left as there was no sign they intended to help or acknowledge me. Now i'm sitting on hold for 30 mins with B of A main line. If you want to waste your time, bank here!

Lesleigh Lee5Every time I come into the bank I am amazed at how great their customer service is no matter the time of day or how busy they maybe. However, I normally don't post reviews but Anthony Mingo has gone above and beyond on several occasions. That's why I am writing this post today. He is always so patient, professional and knowledgeable. In these days and times it is nice to know that some companies are still taking customer service seriously.

Damaze Zoomer5I had an issue with one of my accounts at Bankofamerica so I called the branch in Petersburg VA. Anthony answered the call and was very courteous . He patiently listened to my issue. He suggested I come in and ask for him. When I got there and met him he was very friendly, very professional and extremely efficient. It didn’t take him long to discover the source of my issues and promptly determined how to resolve them. He also went beyond by assisting me with updating my accounts. Anthony deserves to be recognized for his professionalism, his knowledge and effectiveness in customer satisfaction.

LifeWithOlivia5The people here are so nice! Everyone had mask on, and it was nice and clean! A lady with short hair, light skin and probably about 5'4 helped me. She was so nice and helped me right away! I would definitely would recommend this bank, one of the nicest banks I have been to.

Mia Pyfrom5I am not a current BOA customer; however, I came in to cash a BOA check that was written to me. The tellers, especially Anthony, were very courteous and quick. I felt like my time was valued; and he even offered me the option of opening my own account with your branch. I declined that day, but I am definitely considering it in the future.

Charles Roberson3I would like some clarification concerning branch to branch mask requirements. The Colonial Heights branch only recommends them and yet the Petersburg branch still requires them to enter the building. Paul Ward (your Vice President and Market Leader) states that all branches only recommend and your sign stating that they are required is incorrect according to company-wide policy for our area. Please clarify. Thanks.

Angela Russell1Apparently they have some feature where if they can’t verify your identity, they just go ahead and close your account WITHOUT NOTIFYING YOU. Therefore, I set up my direct deposit after I was told my account was approved and opened just to never get my card and try to log in and get told my account was locked. I go to this particular branch in order to try and get a temporary debit card and resolve my locked account to be told there’s nothing they can do and just get handed a business card with a number to call and sent on my way. Called the number they gave me when I got home to be told I have to go to a branch, WHICH I JUST DID. They were supposed to call the number for me but I guess since it was close to closing they just didn’t want to. Went to colonial heights branch this morning and the associate was MUCH more helpful and kind and helped me with my issue. Come to find out my account close immediately and my check never got deposited, so now I have to wait for my employer to receive the money back and write me a paper check. Partly my fault for setting up direct deposit before I received my card, but the company could’ve alerted me at least with an email about my account issue instead of me having to go through a million people to find it out and this Petersburg branch was no help and just wasted my time and caused me more unnecessary anxiety. When you call the 1-800 number there’s over an hour long hold. I’m very disappointed with BOA as a whole as well as this branch. Find a new job if you don’t want to properly help people and rush them out just because you close in twenty minutes. I’ll never use BOA ever again. No wonder they were the only bank to approve me with my credit.
