      Normally wouldn’t leave a review for a bank, but Dan gave the best customer service and got me in and out super quickly. Made it such a pleasant experience!

      They refused to help me because they were closing soon. I stay late at my job to help customers. I guess thats asking too much for them.

      I have been a long time supporter of Bank of America and their technology. However, I was extremely disappointed to find out today they are now closing at 4:00 and on the weekends. I need cash immediately to make a purchase. Bank of America has now made it impossible for me to access that cash. The amount I need is over the ATM/Debit limit. I am unable to use a personal check and still run into the same issue of getting to the bank, before they close, with a cashiers/certified check. I don't see how closing at 4:00 instead of 5:00 protects your staff from COVID. At this rate I will never be able to access my funds. I couldn't even close my accounts at this point. Bank of America, you officially have my hands tied. I am angry and concerned. I will be closing my accounts as soon as I am able. That will most likely take a missed day of work to do so. With that being said, if you open a savings here thats what it will be, a savings, because you will never be able to touch the money that you did save !!!! This is one of the main concerns consumers have when dealing with banks, not being able to get their money. Congratulations, you've now made the nightmare a reality.

      No drive thru, only outside atms. They only ever have one teller working the front with a line of people circling around in the building. Everyone else just sits at a desk. Slowest bank service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been using them for over a year for depositing checks for a company I subcontract for and this has been consistent the entire time. I would never personally use this bank. Be prepared to stand around for a long time if you’re going here.

      Slowest service ever..one teller always working very slow. 2 people at the other desk never come up to help even when line is out the door. If the wife would let me I would pull all our accounts to banks with branches open to serve people..everything can't be done online or thru atms. Did you see where I said can't everything be done online or through ATM

      This is my home bank, but I have had better experience with other BOA branches in Philadelphia. Ironic, isn’t it? I went and ask for a statement letter. This BOA on Wards told me to go online to order and wait another week to get it in the mail. If it’s not urgent, why would I go and ask for it? I wouldn’t even want to waste my time to go ask. They told me that there’s nothing they can do to speed up the process. It’s funny that I did this once at other branch, and it was a wonderful experience. When I was traveling around Philadelphia area and happened to need the same statement, I went into the one on Broad St. They told me the same online procedure, but it just happened that it’s very urgent. I explained to that branch rep, and she understood my need and called the cooperate immediately. Got my statement within 15 mins. This BOA branch on Wards RD staff is either lack of customer service knowledge or lack of knowledge within their work!!

      Unfortunately there's only two Bank of Americas in Lynchburg and both are usually long wait times therefore I use the ATM a lot we need one more Bank of America in Lynchburg. However the clerks are nice and kind and pleasing when I have transactions in the building

      VA doesn't have many BOAs and I had to drive 40 miles from SML to this branch for a cashiers check. This is usually a pain and takes forever, but the teller and manager knocked it out in 10 min.

      If you care about customer service, I'd recommend skipping this location. The Brazilian personal banker is rude and unprofessional. The older lady who is also a personal banker doesn't seem to really care about customers other than high rollers with whom she pleases on the phone. Only reason I am even giving this place a 2 star is because of the bank manager, the gentleman is kind, professional, helpful and always makes sure he can help his customers - he doesn't care if you're a young, college student or elderly.

      First worse experience ever!!! Went to deposit cash in mother’s account was told I could not deposit cash had to get a money order so I that and went back to complete deposit even filled out money orders to then be told that funds will be held for 7 days because it’s a new account...this was intended for bills to get paid not be placed on a hold and cause her to be late paying them so needless to say I spent an hour dealing with BOA and still did not accomplish the main reason I went there and now have money orders that we have to go cash and pay bills... what a waist of time and money for the money orders!!!
