Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

Erica Estrella1Worst bank ever. 2 people working as tellers on a Friday afternoon. A rude manager with with her upside down U eyebrows tells me they’re so booked with appointments that they couldn’t even issue me a temporary bank card. Funny enough I found appointments for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Apparently your manager can’t read cause she was looking at this paper and said I’d have to wait til late next week. Then to “help” me they said I could use the app and report my card lost so I’d atleast have the numbers. Not sure if they’re aware not everybody takes Apple Pay! So no debit card for me cause they nobody in the bank could give me a temp card that takes 10 minutes to do. I banked with td and they could issue me a card right then and there but nope not bank of America. Don’t go to this bank if you need something done that should be quick.

Jason Tindell1Worst Bank I have ever delt with by far! They're Customer Service when at the Bank is the Absolute worst. And they just up and close locations for months at a time whenever they want..... Like the Holyoke Ma Location has been closed for at least 4-8 months. Now I have to drive 20 more miles and 30 minutes out of my way..... Which is B.S.!!! Very unhappy specially when they move all your money where ever in your account. They are dirty and have more Lawsuits on them then any other Bank in the World let alone just the U.S. Definitely leaving $1 in my account and going to Holyoke Credit Union!😝😝😝😝😝😝

greg feldman1Expect to devote a a minimum of 1 hour of your day if you need to do even the simplest in person transaction at this bank. Sometimes i feel like I am on a hidden camera show while waiting in line. Typically they have only 1 teller, and it seems like 5 managers who watch over their shoulder but do nothing to help speed to process of moving the line along. Today there was a line out the door, and that was the breaking point. Switching banks tomorrow.
Response from the ownerWe sorry to hear about your experience with our financial center team and appreciate you coming in, Greg. You may be able to save time by using an ATM or our mobile app. Signing up is simple: https://www.bankofamerica.com/online-banking/mobile-and-online-banking-features/overview/

Pavel Rudokha1Walked in to make the same day wire transfer. Security guy (?!) took my name and asked to take a sit mentioning that there are 2 people in front of me and i ll have to wait. Ok. 30 mins later a manager comes up to me saying that they need to make an appointment for another day. When i asked why i wasn’t told that since i walked in she said that security guy doesn’t know all that (even though security guy himself asked the details, whether its domestic or international wire) - what’s the point to have that guy taking people’s info in the first place then? They care less about what kind of customer you are. Now I consider closing all my business and personal accounts with them and switch to a bank that actually cares

Joe Delicious5Since it seems google wants me to write longer reviews let me tell you about this drive-thru atm and exquisite functions. At first you pull up and see it's a bank and you think to yourself "Oh no! It's 6:00pm on a Thursday night and I have no money on me. What shall a lady such as myself do?" Then as you glance back up at building you notice the beautiful awning, and what is under that awning? The Holy Grail you ask, No a beautifully lit atm. As you roll down the smooth pavement your car starts to fill with the light, you stop, and almost effortlessly enter your card and pin in perfect timing you can hear the machine clicking counting out several twenty dollar bills. Then in the midst of all the commotion the tiny door opens "veet." It's your money. You now know the pleasure of visiting this atm.
Response from the ownerThank you for being a valued Bank of America customer. We appreciate the positive review about your experience.

Stef Sleczkowski1A snooty lady came over and told me to keep it down because I had to take a phone call really quick inside the center. Apparently I should have been using my “library voice” inside of the bank. I found them to be extremely rude, when I took a call for 5 minutes. Also said it was going to be a 30 minute wait just for me to do a name change on my debit card. Maybe I will take my business elsewhere. No wonder they only have a 2-star rating.

Chrissie Fannin1Awful customer service. I won’t use Bank of America anymore after this experience. I live an hour and a half away and they do not take phone calls apparently. So I had to drive here to then be talked rudely to by the lady working & told it’d be a 40 minute wait for a quick yes or no answer. Then they wouldn’t help us at all because of a slight issue that any other bank would’ve easily solved. We have several accounts here and will make sure to switch banks ASAP.

M M1Ugh, I can't explain how much a despise this bank. They are worse than a furniture store. If you don't bank with them they give you horrible customer service. They push you into opening an account with them and persist on doing it. You can't stand in line without someone in your face asking you if you're interested in opening an account. If I was interested in opening an account I would have went straight to customer service and sat down. I went there to cash a check that was clearly from that bank and was told I needed to wait for a manager to make sure the check was legit. Are you kidding me? Look at the check, make sure business is legit, make sure funds are available in my business client account and cash it... simple!! Nope, that at this bank. I truly dislike this bank!

Ellen Farley1This branch has a phone queue that actually just hangs up on you! I needed to find out if their notary was in today so, yes, I would like a live person. I've been attempting to remove my name from my daughter's account for a year now. One year ago, I had to go through several visits to get this done. Since they don't answer the phone, you must go in and find out if the notary is in. They set us up with an appointment on the day the notary is in but the appointment got changed to a new day. Still not sure if on the new day the notary is in. Can't call cause they won't answer. Like I said, been trying to get off this account for a year now. By the way, last summer the rep did successfully remove me from my daughter's checking account but not her savings account. So, been doing this ever since.
