I have been a Bank of America (BayBank) customer for over 40 years, and my family keeps substantial funds there. This morning I had a very unpleasant experience with the person at the front desk of the Lexington branch office. I requested a simple document be signed and authorized. It became clear rather quickly that the staff person was poorly skilled and didn't understand what the document required. After a while, my explaining became counterproductive, the staff person became reticent stating categorically that they would not sign this kind of a document; nor would she offer to consult with her supervisor. Appalled, I went straight to the town office to obtain the notarized signature with no problem, of course. This is not the first time I've had a bad staff experience at this branch office. Competence and customer service are lacking, long time customers are treated poorly. When I called repeatedly after the encounter to speak to the branch manager no one had the courtesy to pick up the phone. If I don't get a call after I post this review I know that the bank truly doesn't care.

This place is a circus. I felt like a criminal asking for my own money with the way that they treated me. Will be closing my account immediately and they can thank Buchana for that

Awful customer service. I only went here because they failed to process my loan check through mobile means correctly. And when I explained the situation, they only gave me pushback. Even after it got authorized by a manager, they still questioned. AND yelled over to the manager whom was like 6 feet away. Why would I lie when the person who authorized it is literally right next to the tellers? Anyway. I won't be going back here. And I'm going to be moving my banking elsewhere. I've pretty much had it with BoA and their all around awful customer service. Had this account for over 10 years. I think Santander is calling.

I had to deposit a paper check yesterday. This never happens as all the banking is online now. I almost forgot how to deposit a paper check at a branch, heh! An associate picked me up before I even joined the end of the line at the teller’s window, and invited me to her office. She took care of my deposit and gave me a receipt in no time! And no sales pitch! Thank you so much for the great service, especially during a pandemic!

I come to this branch frequently and have never been overly impressed. Not two seconds after processing a deposit are they trying to persuade you into signing up for additional credit cards and loan programs. I just went to pay them a visit on my way home from work and was greeted by a woman who was locking the door, Smiling at me as she mouthed “we’re closed” as she turned the key. Aside from their high number of locations accords the country BOA leaves quite a bit to be desired, this branch in particular.

In the old days banks were staffed by professional bankers. This bank location in particular is staffed by ordinary sales representatives. I'm not talking about the tellers, but the "Relationship Manager" as they call it, the ones sitting by the desk. In one occasion, the man servicing me held my ATM card and rubbed it to his nose while looking at the screen. Yuck. At another occasion in the past, another man was priorly working as a pharmacy technician next door. I like Bank of America in general, this problem seems to be unique to this Lexington center location.

As usual, five empty offices and NO customer service people available. Every time I have to come into this office I dread it, because they have absolutely zero understanding of what customer service means. Why do they have five empty offices and ZERO people to serve customers. Answer: they have no interest whatsoever in customer service.
