Kimberly Beranek1Seriously, I went to two different branches and it was a ghost town…. No employees!!!! Drive through was closed and the Frankfort literally had one teller and two other employees sitting at a desk doing god knows what. I WAS going to open up an account but after going to two different branches with no luck, I am definitely changing my mind.

Lisa Olsen2I’m getting tired of getting abandoned property letters for my children’s savings accounts! I got these accounts to “save” money for my kids, not to get threats it will get closed out and given to the state!

Kimberly Holt1I went to the bank to cash my 401k check. After giving the teller everything that was required to case this check.. she informs me that she needs to speak to a manager namely Jamila Abu-rumman. The then manager comes over to me to inform me that she couldn't cash a non customer check over $500.00. I then told her that's not true, I have cashed checks in that bank for over 5000.00 before. She informs me that since she has been there the 500.00 policy has been the policy. I knew she was lying, after she look at me, up and down( and maybe I wasn't dress for her liking, nor the color of my skin was of her liking). She refused to service me and continued the same lie. I then went to my car to phone customer service and I was told there is no such policy within Bank of America!!! It is left up to the disgression of the manager. If she would have simply told me that she was uncomfortable serving a black person..that I can take and understand. But to out rite lie!!!! If this is your company policy to lie to customers, I would think this is a bank that can not be trusted!!! When she told me to kindly take my business somewhere else. I went to the next Bank of America, in Tinley and had no issue on cashing my 401k check. I guess there are more people like me in Tinley. I will never go to this bank again !!!! Never in my years have I been treated so disrespectful cause of my clothing or the color of my skin. If I could rate this Bank a zero I would !!!!!!!!
