Darkwing Duck1Appointments times are pointless. Hassled for information they already had. Wanted me to call a phone number via email which I could not verify as BoA. Checked all the do not contact info on accounts but they still texted me to join Merril Lynch. I texted stop. They called me and emailed me to join Merril. I repeatedly said stop. They said to call another number to get them to stop. I got nasty with them and they finally stopped. I thought I'd need a lawyer since they were in clear violation of the laws.

Sasha Garcia1Unfortunately like others have said they just don’t provide enough tellers so the wait is super long. There are lots of things people need to do in person like request a cashiers check, make a transfer to another person etc that you can’t do online. They should not cut back so much that the experience goes from a 5 star to a 1. People will start moving their money to other banks. Also there sometimes are multiple security guards but they just hang out in the back. One security guard should be in the front at the ATMs.

Bryan Madeira1An ATM at this location ate my checks without depositing them into my account. Instead of helping me that day, I was told I had to call the number on the ATM machine. Made a claim seven days ago. I'm still waiting.

Katheryn Chow1I mailed my B of A VISA payment, along with a checking account deposit to this Castro Valley branch on April 3, 2021. They have not processed them as of today, April 23,2021. When I called, they said it was probably USPS 's fault. However, I am transferring my accounts to Chase, since they have a drop box available for customers, unlike B of A. The B of A representative said to bank online/ATM, since I can't even hand my transactions to bank personnel inside without having to stand in their long lines. Well, one month and one week later, my check was deposited and my VISA account credited $500 (since I had to pay another $500 to avoid late charges). Believe or not - this happened AGAIN three weeks later!

Alvin Lee5Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other BoA Financial Center if you need the assistance of a teller. The time it takes to get service here is 1 hour, up to 1.5 hrs if there’s a line. Even though I live 5 blocks from this BoA I save time going to the San Leandro or Dublin BoA. But 5 stars because I still appreciate the service and hard work of the current tellers. I just wished they would hire more accountants to meet the high demand of customers.

GiGi WilsonButler1Bofa is the worst bank when it comes to customer service. Two tellers, and a bank employee asking you what brought you to the bank today? Banking I'm not here on a social visit. Have more tellers so your customers don't have to wait in line an hour to see a teller. I want to move all of my money from Bofa, but husband refuses. HATE HATE BOFA. BRANCH ON HESPERIAN HAYWARD, SAN LEANDRO BAYFAIR, CASTRO VALLEY, SAN LEANDRO. ALWAYS AN HOUR WAIT UNLESS YOU ARE THERE WHEN THE DOORS OPEN.

abdullah qasem1I have a bad experience with Bank of America but this branch is the worst ever. I use to have an account with them then I canceled it. I went there to cash my cashier check that's issued by bank of America, the manager told me to wait so they can verify the cashier check. However, after waiting for about 20 mins for them to verify it, the manager told me I have to open an account with them to cash my cashier check that was issue by their Bank. They Wasted my time for 20 min just to push my open an account with them. Will never ever open an account in my whole life with this bank. Will take all my people who comes new to this country and open an account for them with Wells Fargo or a different bank. "I promise"

Kien Nguyen1Very limited hours while it's always crowded here. The upper management seems okay as in polite, but the counter has very few staffs and that result in a hit and miss service. I'm starting to wonder if I should close all of my accounts here and move to Chase for better service.
