  My daughter's father and I rented an apartment after receiving a tour of the unit reassuring us the building was up to code and would be a good fit for a young family moving to the area with a 2 year old. The first month was fine despite having been lied to about a dog having previously resided within the home. (The smell was the INITIAL giveaway!) Badger said the carpet was professionally cleaned. If so, why did the folks from service master say they never visited our location previously? Hmmm. Gets worse. I developed pulmonary edema several months later? How: Frechette oil visits the site to service the oil burner. He inform us there is a leak in the line and its dangerous for us to be in the home. Contact Badger, deflective tactics: You need to contact the owner's. Well, Robert out of state and not respinding. I go to the Town Board of Health department. The apartment was NOT ON THE BOOKS. Dave Pandora explained the information available. The house is zoned for single family home ONLY! WOW! ILLEGALLY FINISHED OFF a basement with no second entrance. Oil lines encase in cement and pin hole leaks ALL throughout the entire walls! Also, massive water damage from bad plumbing job on the cheap. 95% of personal BELONGINGS RUINED and never compensated! WORSE was the declining health of my toddler and myself because we were home and the real estate agency should NEVER have lied to us about the apartment being a SAFE & LEGAL!!!
