  I had a wonderful experience with Austin Mortgage Associates. I cannot thank James and his team enough for helping me and guiding me every step of the way. He was always available to answer my many, many questions, and worked diligently with me to ensure that we stayed on track, for I found that I was woefully unprepared for the amount of information I had to provide, but I felt supported by James and the amazing Christine the entire time. I was able to get approved for a USDA loan and purchase my first house thanks to this incredible team, and I am making sure that I recommend Austin Mortgage Associates to my family and friends. It was truly a pleasure working with you!

  We used Austin Mortgage Associates for our home refinance. This is the 3rd home we've owned, so we're not babes in the woods. James Copeland worked with us to make the deal happen. He personally took charge of pulling together our paperwork (not handing it off to someone else), making sure we had everything needed and coordinating the process. I asked some fairly tough questions that James handled well. We were evaluating 3 mortgage brokers at the time. The two other brokers were our current mortgage holder and the previous one (who sold the thing). We have no complaints about the other brokers. They all had competitive deals in the new "inflation related" mortgage finance world. James stood out because of his personal energy, his seeming commitment to our story, his willingness to listen, his keeping the process going (and not stagnating at some point), and the fact he was local, not in an office hundreds/thousands of miles away. After the closing I let James know I hadn't received a copy of the appraisal as I should have. I don't know why I hadn't received it earlier (spam folder?) I got one from James 5 minutes later. The other brokers would have gotten a 4 star rating. James Copeland and Austin Mortgage got 5.

  James Copland was a miracle worker throughout the entire process and I can't recommend him enough. We went through a very complicated mortgage process involving a divorce, legal name change, a combative party with interest in the house, and every inch of red tape you could possibly imagine. James with with us every step of the way and ensured that once we were ready to go there weren't any mistakes. If you're looking for someone to get you through a quagmire of legal issues James is the guy.

  What a great company! I can's say enough. The owner James Copeland personally handled my loan after a very tough divorce. His wife Lisa Copeland a realtor brought me to Austin Mortgage when 2 other companies had turned down my loan. James and Lisa worked on helping me restore my credit score and gave me a 90 day plan/path to home ownership. Me and my children now have a home that is OURS!!!! If you're looking for a mortgage or a realtor The Copelands are AMAZING. They have 25 years experience and it shows. They get it done!!! I am even attaching a picture of our dream home! Thank you again!!! Our Christmas miracle has happened!

  All I have to say is what a great experience I have had with Austin Mortgage Associate. As a first time buyer and fresh out of college, James took me under his wing and walked me through the entire process of purchasing my first house. James does a fantastic job connecting with the people that come into his office not only on a professional level but a personal level as well. We set a plan to Re-finance after two years of the original closing date if the time was right and James put the plan into motion this June. I cannot thank him and his team enough for all the work they do. James is my first recommendation to anyone in the market that is purchasing and/ or re-financing a home!

  My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with James at Austin Mortgage Associates three times over the last 14 years. First, for the purchase of our home in 2006, a refi in 2012 and a recent refi this month! There are not enough adjectives to describe the wonderful care he takes with his clients, his thoughtfulness throughout the entire process all while making the time to personally connect with us. James also connected our sons to discuss career plans post college! Just amazing. Now, not only that, but his entire staff are equally outstanding. I recently worked with Evan and Christine and they are top notch! If you are looking for honesty, integrity and someone ready and willing to go the extra mile for you, then you need to contact James at Austin Mortgage Associates. I know if our plans to purchase or refi again in the future, no doubt I will be calling James again :)

  James has helped us with our mortgage on our last two homes, along with many of our friends along the way. He is so knowledgeable about the industry, presented us with many options to accomplish our goals both when buying and refinancing (very patient and constantly educating us as we were first time buyers), and was a pleasure to work with and learn from the whole time. Cathy in his office was equally helpful and wonderful to work with. We will continue to send our friends and family to work with James and his team at AMA.

  No words to describe how kind Mr. Cope;and and his staff were. I am newly divorced and had never been through the home mortgage process as a single lady. I had SO many questions and so much anxiety. I started my home shopping with a large national lender and was left almost stranded. Luckily a friend at work recommended James and he saved the day. Because of him and Cathy my daughter and I have a beautiful new home. I am SO grateful!! I HIGHLY recommend James Copeland and Austin Mortgage Associates.

  My experience with James at Austin Mortgage Associates was great. James answered all my questions and concerns promptly. I'm sure I called him way to many times, but sure enough every time he would pick up the phone and walk me through the questions I had.
